A very good place for a family vacation, quiet and green. The beach is only 3-5 mins walk. We (me, my husband and our 3 y/o daughter) stayed there for last two weeks of September. The villa building is one floor and is split into two parts which are pretty much the same in terms of the size and sold for rent separately. We stayed in other part (not on the pictures), but the inside is very similar. The villa had a well-equipped kitchen with all required kitchenware, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a livingroom. Two terraces on each side of the villa are great for a meal and just relaxing. The part we stayed at can comfortably accommodate 5 people (a twin-bed in one bedroom and three single-beds in the other bedroom). Among other facilities of the villa are BBQ, washing machine, dishwasher, AC in all the rooms and hallway. The outside shower (complimentary to the one inside) is just what you need on the hot day to refresh.
The location of the villa is Rosa Marina Village with authorized access only (magnetic cards) and 24/7 security patrol. So no concerns about security which is the issue in the south of Italy. The village is very green and clean. Right in the village are playground for children, tennis courts and beach facilities for leisure, supertmarkets, couple of restaurants and bars, pharmacy, doctor. During our stay none of them were open, except for one supermarket, which did not provide a big variety of products, but I guess that is because we came in end September, so we had to rent a car to do shopping for food in the neighbourhood. Big supermarkets are only 10-20 minutes drive. The surrounding area has a lot of places of interest to visit on car or by taxi. The beach is very clean. During the season it provides beds and umbrellas for rent. The sea is fantastic – very clean, shallow (a great benefit when travelling with a child) and quiet, no jellyfish – at least during our stay.
A separate thanks to the owners of the villa who were very warm welcoming, friendly and provided all the support upon request.
