Zugang für Gäste
We love our neighborhood, tucked between the vibrant downtown, the mansion district, and the Castle Street Antiques District. Restaurants, shops, everything you need within walking distance. Our guests typically park and leave their cars here (unless they go to the beach, which is 15 minutes away). If you are tired at the end of the evening, many guests catch a Port City Bike Taxi (URL HIDDEN) fee, just tips. Easy and relaxing!

Hi. I'm Katherine (a native New Yorker), a dancer/choreographer who has taught and choreographed in colleges and universities my entire career (SUNY Buffalo, Buffalo State, William Peace University). I have a BA and an MAH in Dance and Physical Anthropology. I love swimming and yoga. I am a novice longboard surfer, and LOVE the beautiful North Carolina beaches that surround our vibrant little river city of Wilmington.
I love working in the arts, am active in the community, and am very enamored with downtown life in Wilmington. I'm a regular volunteer at a local homeless shelter and serve on several area arts-related boards. I'm a lifetime non smoker who maintains a healthy lifestyle and good friends.
I cannot live without long walks with a good dog, and have one in my beloved rescue, Izzi. My favorite place to be is in Italy, but Wilmington is a close second. I'm a huge fan of Tom Waits, experimental theater, live jazz, and canned opera- not necessarily in that order.
I love being outdoors, but I hate the cold.
Occaisionally, my son and his wife, both experienced hosts, 40-ish beach lovers, fill in for me- you'll love Josh and Jen Arnott!!
