Private room in cute two bedroom, two bath house with two cute cats. Fast wireless internet and Roku/Apple TV available. Direct access to private back yard with fountain. Great place for workshop attendees. Walking distance to trails, restaurants, health food stores, bike shop. You can easily walk to Airport Mesa and Vortex from here (about a mile), and I have information on all the vortex sites and hiking or biking trails available. You are really in the heart of all Sedona has to offer here!
My guest room has a platform double bed with a 5-inch foam mattress topper and comforter to make sure it is comfortable. There is desk space and a very small closet in this room.
The new guest bathroom now has its own beautiful, glass-enclosed shower! Check the last two photos to see how it came out. The shower is exclusively for your own use. The bathroom and sink are occasionally used as a powder room by visitors, but are all yours in the evening.
I am a raw food enthusiast, so don't do a lot of cooking. However, you have full access to my refrigerator and kitchen and please feel free to cook up whatever suits you during your stay. A selection of hot teas is always available for guests.
My cats, José and Lili, are adorable and friendly to guests. They can be easily be kept out of your room if you prefer.

Depends on my schedule. Some days, I can be quite busy, but when I have free time I enjoy chatting.
Weitere wichtige Infos
Recycling located in front coat closet. Please ask about what goes in which bin. Compost bucket in kitchen next to sink. Tap water is very drinkable on this street (no chlorine or fluoride). Filter tap next to kitchen faucet is just for excess natural minerals in water. Left front burner on electric stove does not work. I don't cook that much, so three burners is enough for me, and you are welcome to use all three!
The cats are indoor only - please be careful to close doors securely, even if you go out briefly. If one should "escape," don't worry - they don't go far and will come to you if you call gently. If not, I will retrieve when I am home.
Most of my "house rules" have to do with the cats...Please pet the cats!
Please leave toilet lid closed to prevent José the cat from unrolling toilet paper into the water, his favorite trick.
They are indoor cats, so please be aware of the doors as you enter or leave. If the door doesn't click fully closed, they will be able to open it.
If either cat should happen to run outside, please don't worry about getting them back in. Just let me know. They get out so rarely it can be confusing for them, so best to just leave them alone and let me deal with it.
Parking: if you are coming by car, please park in the FIRST driveway to my house. It will be before the driveway with the mailbox, which is for my office. There is room for two cars to park next to each other in the first driveway, so please park to the right of my white Civic. Also, please let me know by text if possible your estimated arrival time. AirBnB will provide my phone number once your registration is confirmed.
This is my very minor, virgo, pet peeve: when using the electric tea pot, please add just enough water for your cup o'tea, rather than helpfully filling the entire pot. It throws me off in the morning, not to mention taking more energy and time to heat the water!
And, by the way, the tiny neighborhood of "old Sedona" where I live, has some of the best, most drinkable tap water on the planet. No chlorine, no fluoride. Drink as much as you want and fill up your water bottles for free! Also, I have solar hot water, and sun is plentiful here, so don't worry about running out of hot water in the shower.
Please feel free to use the kitchen (stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher) as needed. Note: I do not have a microwave so keep that in mind if you are looking for easy meals at the grocery store. You can still prepare those foods in the toaster oven, but it takes a bit longer.
I am a CranioSacral and Yoga Therapist from Sedona, AZ. Single, quiet, vegan, cat lover. Last year, I attended a "spiritual baptism" ceremony at my church (Unity of Sedona) and got an inspiration to "put the joy first" and so I changed my name from Pamela Joy to Joy Nanda. I hope that isn't too confusing when reading my reviews from the past.
