Bright, sunny second floor flat in Northcote/Thornbury (a very cool neighbourhood just 7kms from city) with two bedrooms, separate kitchen and light spacious lounge.
The apartment is equipped with a washing machine and there is unlimited wifi.
The apartment is a very cosy, comfortable space with lots of light and everything you need for a stay in Melbourne, and most importantly it is spotlessly clean! Even if you're only using it as a place to crash after a day of sightseeing, you want to know you're relaxing in a clean place with freshly laundered linen on the beds and soft towels in the bathroom.
Being a 2-bedroom flat, it is best suited to groups of up to four. However, I can arrange a fold-out single bed and linen (and additional towels if required) for a fifth person (or just for those who don't want to share one of the queen beds) at a cost of $10/night.
I'm also very family friendly, having a child of my own, and love having families stay. The only thing that I ask is that you are mindful of the close proximity of neighbours when it comes to noise. Please refer to the house rules.
The apartment is in a block of 10 apartments, in a 70s-era brick building - it's not the prettiest of buildings from the outside, but inside is bright, sunny, clean and comfortable!
Having previously been my home, the apartment is well appointed, and has lots of homely touches, including a bookshelf full of books.
Minutes walk to High St cafes, bars, and an eclectic mix of shops.
The apartment is fully furnished with all linen, towels, kitchen utensils and appliances provided.
Fully furnished :
- queen-sized beds in both bedrooms;
- built in wardrobes
- TV / DVD player
- stainless steel oven & cooktop
- all kitchen appliances
- washing machine
- secure and safe
- big sliding windows let in lots of fresh air
Reverse cycle heating/cooling.
Lovely light & bright little flat that will sleep up to 4 people.

Shaun is a social worker and a musician and Lanie works in communications. We're from Melbourne, Australia.
We love Melbourne for all it's good things (coffee, shopping, cultural diversity and live music) and all it's one bad thing (unpredictable weather).
We rent out our 2-bedroom flat in Melbourne and love to let our guests in on the little secrets that turn them from a tourist into a traveller.
Things we can't live without: sunshine, books, family, fish'n'chips on the beach in summer.
