In fact, if it weren't for the very best that Kansas City has to offer being right outside your doorstep, you might have a hard time leaving the place.

Guests are encouraged to treat the home like their own. Help yourself to food, beverages, laundry soap, toiletries, and other consumables that are on hand at no additional charge.

No Smoking in the apartment. If smoking outside the apartment, cigarette butts should be managed responsibly.

For any property loss or damages except from normal wear & tear and that which can be reasonably argued to be outside Guests' control (such as from acts of nature), Guests or Guests' insurer (if any) are obligated to pay replacement and repair costs plus a reasonable property management fee (commensurate with the time and effort involved) of not less than forty dollars ($40). Additionally, Guests who leave the property “trashed" (requiring more than 4 man-hours cleaning) are obligated to pay the entire cost of post check-out cleaning.

Liability Waiver: To the full extent allowed by law, Guests will not hold the Host or Host's insurers liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by the Guests or their visitors while on or in any way connected with the property. Travel insurance is recommended for cautious travelers.

All laws and local ordinances, including noise related ordinances must be observed while on the premises.

Max Occupancy: No more than eight people are allowed on the premises at any one time without Host's prior written approval. By all means though, if you're planning a get-together with more than eight people don't hesitate to ask for approval.

All Guests must be open to the distinct possibility of having an amazing time while on the premises ;-)

Steven was an exellent host, we really had a great time in his wonderful apt. It was nice, clean, cosy and had enough space for us. everything was perfect and if we had a problem we could call Steven and he came over and helped us. We loved the building in this interesting city. Steven even offered us a guided tour to the museum. But there wasn't enough time unfortunately to take the opportunity.. I can really recommend this apartment! the only problem I had was - my English.

Steven's place is just as described. I parked my car and walked most places while staying there. Great views out the windows too! Would book again next time I'm in town.

It's a nice clean, spacious apartment with a great back porch. All the basic amenities we needed were provided, I appreciated the written instructions for the nespresso machine and french press. Steven communicated well with us and provided us with easy instructions on getting in. Apartment was just as described. It's in a quiet neighborhood, but close to the action of the downtown power & light and crossroads arts districts. It was only a short walk away from some good bar hopping at craft beer bars, distilleries, and speakeasies. Also a cheap cab ride (or short drive) away from the major sights, museums, and great BBQ's of KC.

Steven is a great host. He was very detailed and accurate about his property and what to expect. It is a third floor walk up apartment so know that going in. Property is located on a busy street and during our stay was very active. The property is a 20 minute walk to the Power and Light District and the Sprint Center. There is a Mexican restaurant and a Denny's all easily within walking distance. A grocery store is walkable. Once you arrive and get situated, getting around is easy. I would highly recommendedSteven's property and plan on staying again soon. It is a large property in comparison to a hotel room. It has all the modern ammentities along with historical charm.

Good location with secure parking fairly close. Bit of a walk to great restaurants up the hill (don't miss them) Quite a distance to grocery store but closer if you walk five blocks to cable car. Be ready to climb some stairs as apartment is three stories up with no elevator. The worst part is the smells at entrance of building (smoker and moldy) but the apartment itself is generous in size and the main bedroom is lovely with large windows on the east side. One window opens for fresh air. The bedding is delightful with wonderful sheets and towels. Second bedroom is dark w only one small window but has door to outside patio. View from that room is not good as it looks out on roof and trailers. But other rooms have nice lighting and some views. Large well equipped kitchen and excellent washer and drier. Bathroom is very small for two bedrooms but has jetted tub. Large tv w cable. (We had a some difficulties with controllers) Host was very quick to fix issue with wifi in person. The host meets with you in person at beginning of your stay and reviews the details of the apartment and was always available with a quick text. You have details written for you in personal manual that includes suggestions for great local restaurants.

This was our first trip to Kansas City. We loved everything about the city and our wonderful accommodations from Steven. The place was nice, had excellent views, and a great location. I was very pleased with my experiences and would definitely stay there again in the future. I 100% would recommend him to anyone looking to stay in K.C.
