I sometimes can pick you up from the airport if you fly into EWR.
I am usually only a few minutes away if you need me for something and am glad to give you a tour of the neighborhood if I'm not busy.
Otherwise I will let you enjoy the home on your own.
If I get word of parties or unkept conditions from my weekly cleaning ladies, I may want to come see the place.
Any questions, just ask.

My girlfriend, my neighbors and I myself are gay-friendly and gladly welcome anyone regardless of sexual orientation.
I'm not against moderate drinking or smoking (no smoking cigarettes in the house / I don't smoke cigarettes). Pets can be discussed on a case by case basis.
The home is 2 blocks from the above-ground train station that takes you to New York. You will hear the occasional train horn at night.
The entrance to the shower is only 18" wide and I can't change that so if any part of you is more than that wide and you can't suck-it-in, you may have trouble getting into the shower.
If you're contacting me to request dates, please immediately include a bit about the reason for your stay, a light description about you (if your AirBNB profile is empty) and also a description of each of your guests. Unless you have plenty of nice reviews and a full profile, I will need the above before approving a stay.
If you plan to use the stove discuss with me prior to; I prefer that no heavy cooking of very smelly things or unhealthy things take place (curry, bacon, fries, etc). The kitchen is fully equipped for light cooking such as eggs, pasta, vegetables and simple meats.
To keep the shower looking great, the glass needs to be squeegeed after every use (all the way down to the floor). Ironically, this is the rule that is the biggest deal for me.
The toilet should always look like it was never used. Although I don't live in the home nor do I typically clean it myself, I still expect and insist on cleanliness regardless of your gender, age, marital status or sexual orientation. My belief is that everyone should be clean. If you disagree or have messy toilet habits, please let me know ahead of time so that I can guide you to make other plans on where to stay.
No parties. Pre-approved gatherings are fine as long as the visitors number no more than the number of registered guests. This means that if you have 3 registered guests, you are allowed up to 3 visitors. A visitor does not sleep and shower at the home. If you plan to or think that you may have a gathering, It must be discussed with me prior to booking.
I'm a 34 year old Architect originally from Portugal who works in Manhattan. After work I typically spend the evening at the local gym. I almost never cook as the local neighborhood lends itself to really inexpensive dine-out options. I enjoy a happy-hour on occasion. I'm normal / not weird. Any questions; just ask - I'm not shy or super private.
