The apt is just a 10mins walk away from the convention center. The place is clean and fully refurbished, and the check-in/-out with Jesse, the rental manager, was very smooth.
However, there were a few drawbacks:
The neighbourhood is a bit seedy, and didn't feel very safe to me. The police was called to the area several times during my one-week stay, and there was some sort of local assembly to discuss how to "make this neighbourhood safe again after the recent incidents" (I got an invite by mail), whatever this means.
The door to the apartment used a code instead of keys, which was very convenient, e.g. for checking out, but on the other hand is of course not very safe.
Unfortunately, the apt has walls thin as paper. The mariachi music of one of the neighbours was very annoying after a while, plus, even worse, the lady next door was sexually very active [...], which made it difficult to catch any sleep at all - very inconvenient on a business trip.
Nevertheless, I'd probably stay at this studio again, despite the above-mentioned drawbacks.
For additional opinions on this place, I recommend the readers to read the reviews of the "Modern Cozy One-Bedroom Studio", which apparently is located in the same building.
