People look at things differently, do they not? I’m not aware of any spiderwebs inside, we do have spiderwebs on the front porch because the lights are on every night. The house is well known in the community & passerby expect it to be lighted.
The only smell I noticed was after the guests left, it was the odor of cooking with grease. I aired the house and used a serious odor remover to extinguish it.
The suggestion of an extra roll of paper towels will be instituted. Guests are not expected to clean so cleaning products were not left in the unit. There were paper towels for a spill or other mishap.
I question the 2 bath towels per person. Where did that standard come from? Three sets of 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel & 1 washcloth were provided. I was not told about the fourth person until shortly before guests arrival & was not able to put out a fourth set of towels. Guests only used one set of towels, putting the 2 unused sets back in the hall closet.
We don’t have bee hives. Guest might be commenting on mud dauber nests which are common to the area, we are in the midst of over 300 acres of forest and parkland. Consideration must also be given to the fact that the house is less than half a mile from the river so we can’t use toxic chemicals that would taint or pollute.
Comments are appreciated to help us provide the best environment possible for our guests.
