Great weekend get away! Beautiful river, all basic camping utilities provided and just secluded enough to feel removed from it all yet amenities nearby if needed. This was our 2nd visit!

This is total bare bones staying with no bedding, lights, towels. Its a nice place so long as you are good with that. Certainly this clamping has no glam

Great place to get away for a night or two with the ability to still get some driving done around beautiful north bend

Best place for glamping near Seattle. Tammy is great! Down to earth and hospitable always. Our third time here and cannot wait for next summer to come back!

Tammy was dealing with a medical emergency when we arrived. Her mother was there but she wasn't sure where we were staying and she wouldn't let me use the bathroom after a long car ride. The tent had quite a few spiders in webs in it; we fell asleep to the sound of the freeway and my wife woke up in the morning with a couple of spider bites. There is no running water and guests share an outhouse with four other tents. As a host myself, I'd say it's not worth the money.

Dear David, I am very sorry you did not like our space. So sorry spiders arrived, I have no control over that but a broom is handy in our tent to knock them away. We do our best to sweep the sand and webs, but they can happen quickly. I- 90 is louder then usual I agree right now because road crews are trying to improve it . As a matter a fact this day there was a semi truck overturned and a bad accident which led to a huge back up and causing my elderly Dad to have a accident and that was our medical emergency I was tending too. ( lots of new growth here!) Sorry you did not know about the running water 50 ft from you. You drove right past it when you parked by your Mt. Tent. Yes it is a nice clean out house (not a san a can) and its cleaned regularly, and it is shared by sometimes guests in a tipi and TWO other tents to be accuret. As far as using The restroom in the house, that is my Mom and Dads private bathroom and remember she does not know you. And she explained to you where your place to go was. Given the status of my Dad too she was alone and vulnerable to feel safe to let her in their home. Again sorry you did not like our Beautiful spot , dissapointed about that. but plenty others do and perhaps your wife and you should try a hotel your next get away. Good luck to you.

First off, the photo's do not do this place justice! The view of the creek and the space of the site is fantastic! It's a very bare bones tent with very basic flooring. What you see is what you get, but for us, this was EXACTLY what we wanted. Cooking utensils are provided and the hosts are welcoming! We slept with the tent door open to the cool breeze all night. A perfect getaway, 45 min drive from downtown Seattle. The only this is, it's only semi-private, enough to feel non-disruptive to the other campers, but not enough cover for total private quarters.

Tammy was there to welcome us, she helped us on arrival and made sure we had everything. She was a very good host. the accomodation and setting are wonderful. to be in peace and quiet with the river just a few yards away from our tent was very nice. we were on a 2 day cycle tour and this was a really good stop over. relaxing, inspiring, and got a good night's sleep. the location is really good. just half mile to safeway and starbucks or a mile into town. i would recommend this for "glamping" and also for anyone doing a cycle tour like we were. you have everything provided for cooking and eating and get a comfortable, peaceful place to rest. we didnt have to worry about the bikes at night, which was a big bonus compared to staying in a town and having to find somewhere good to lock them up. so glad we chose to stay here
