Outre-Loire is a « toue cabanée » (traditional Loire fleet-like cabin boat), anchored in the splendid setting of the old port of Chambord, 2.5 miles away from the famous castle. Featuring tailor-made equipment and most recent technology, the boat will however provide you with 1 double and 3 single comfortable beds, kitchen area, fridge, warm shower, toilets, 220V AC current, 12V and USB sockets, WiFi.

40-foot cabin traditional boat, anchored / moored in Saint-Dyé-sur-Loire, the port of Chambord (4km from the castle).
- 4 beds : 1 140x200 bed, 1 70 x 200 bed, 2 folding 70x190 beds, with latex breathable mattress.
- 1 bathroom avec 80x80cm shower and wash-basin. Warm water.
- 1 bathroom with vacuum flush toilet and wash-basin.
- 9 sq. metres space with movable table, foldable chairs, and kitchen area (fridge, sink, gas cooker). Expresso coffee machine, kettle, dish-ware provided.
12 sq. metres 2-level fore-deck, for resting, stargazing, breakfast, etc. (external movable table available)
Bed linen and towels provided.

- Free Internet access (WiFi)
- 160-litre daily water supply
- Heating when necessary.
By default, for a 2-person booking, only the double-bed will be dressed.
N.B. : The boat stays anchored. Guests can't navigate with it.
Also, daylight can filter through the blinds at sunrise. Travelers sensitive to this aspect should bring a sleep mask.

In case you do not want to have diner outside the boat or if you found no solution for it, I may provide you with a "panier-apéro", i.e. a light meal based on local food (terrine, cheese, vegetables, local wine and bread). Thanks for warning me before your arrival.

You may choose one of the two following options for the boat access from the river bank (as described in the listing pictures) :

1/ Outre-Loire is bow and stern anchored at 5-7 metres from the river bank. Sliding along a mooring line, a small boat is provided to access and leave Outre-Loire. This quite simple solution however requires you to be confortable with getting into a small slightly moving boat. I recommand it if it is the case, because you will then really sleep in the middle of the river. This solution is preferred by 99% of guests.

2/ Outre-Loire is docked against the river bank, strictly tied up to it by two mooring lines. You simply access the fore-deck as you would step into a house. Choose this option if you feel uncomfortable with using a the small boat. However, it is possible only if the river is high enough to dock the boat.
