Newly refurbished family run property in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, ideally suited to couples or a small family. The house includes a living-dining area with wood burning stove, modern well equipped kitchen, master bedroom with kingsize bed, shower room with underfloor heating, second room with single pullout sofa bed. Smart HDTV with Freeview, fast Wifi, covered decking area and secure sports equipment storage. We welcome one well behaved and house trained dog.

Refurbished in December 2020 this wee house has been given a contemporary Highland touch with modern amenities and small luxury details throughout. It's the perfect accommodation to base yourself as you explore Aviemore and the Highlands. With easy access to the beautiful Rothiemurchus, Alvie and Glenfeshie Estates and Glenmore Forest Park there is no shortage of outdoor activities to do during your stay.

It's the ideal hub for planning epic days out hiking or running in the surrounding hills or navigating some of the longer distance mountain bike routes. Purpose built and natural trails will take you to the lovely villages of Kincraig, Boat of Garten and Nethy Bridge. The Old Logging Way leads to Glenmore village, Loch Morlich and up towards Cairngorm Mountain.

- The living-dining room has a modern wood burning stove with a generous supply of logs and kindling. Smart HDTV with Freeview channels and access to Netflix and Amazon apps for guests to sign into their own streaming accounts. Fast Wifi will keep you connected to online resources or there's plentiful reading material, reference books, local maps and trail guides if screen entertainment isn't your thing.

- The tastefully decorated kitchen with underfloor heating is well equipped for all self catering requirements. It will be stocked with basic staples of tea, ground coffee, olive oil, salt, pepper, pasta, kitchen foil, baking parchment and some coffee pods. Fresh milk and butter will be provided for guests on arrival.

- The main bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, large built in wardrobes provide a generous amount of storage space. The second bedroom has a fabulous snug sofa that folds out to a single bed.

- The shower room is fitted with a shower, basin, toilet, heated towel rail and underfloor heating. Towels, hand and body wash are provided.

- A covered decking area off the kitchen is a sun trap in the spring and summer months and provides a lovely space for outdoor dining and relaxing. Blankets are available for guest use if sitting outside on chilly evenings. There are facilities for charging E bikes and a hose for washing bikes, wellies, dogs....

- The private driveway allows for off road parking with a fenced front and back yard and large secure storage shed for all outdoor equipment - bikes, kayaks, canoes, skis, snow boards, golf clubs.

From the house you are a few minutes walk to grocery stores and take away restaurants. It's a five minute walk into the town centre to bars, delis, cafes and eateries. The Speyside Way a long distance staged route that leads to the Moray coastline is a few minutes away by bike.

For keen mountain bikers the High Burnside single track mountain bike trails are a short pedal away, a fun morning out for the skilled biker.

There are a multitude of walking and biking paths that take you up to some high scenic vantage points above the village or onto woodland trails that are perfect for dog walking, running and exploring.
