Come stay at our beautiful beach front 4-bedroom condo where we vacation in Barra, Rio de Janeiro, across the street from the best white sandy beach, gated community with pool, play ground, restaurant and tennis courts.
It is a 4 bedroom condo on the 3rd floor with a huge balcony view of the beach right below you. There are 2 suites, each with private bathroom and a queen bed. The other smaller bedroom has 2 twin beds. The last bedroom has a double bed. There is a shopping area next to it with a great brewery/restaurants with fun night life, drug store and beauty salon. The gated community where the condo is includes 3 buildings (only ours faces the ocean) and has private swimming pool (large adult and small for children), tennis courts, a restaurant and bar and children playground. Great for family or only adult fun. The condo has been refurnished after a 3 year period of long term rental. It is beautiful. The key things to look for: AC unit in each room, quality of the bathrooms and flooring, all in granite/marble, safety of the gated community and a guest garage for your rental car.

My mom will greet guests in Rio and walk them in and give them keys. We can arrange for basic groceries for arrival and even local guide or cab driver to assist with sigh seeing.
Weitere wichtige Infos
The building is very safe, there is also a small restaurant by the pool for when you don't feel like driving or walking too far for food. A Sheraton hotel is about half a mile walk if you would like to set up tours of the city, or even enjoy their Spa facilities.
It is a family home. Guests are expected to be respectful. Rowdiness is frowned upon in Rio in general. Cleanliness is expected. A cleaning lady can be arranged too.

I was born in Brasil and grew up going to Rio on vacation with my parents. My parents still live in Brasil and now my mom owns a condo in Barra, the best beach in Rio. We still go there once a year now with my American husband and 2 small children. We love the condo, it's a piece of paradise to me, and the beaches in Rio with the vendors who bring all to your hands- drinks, food- are the best place to relax. I am a physician and my husband owns a small business. Some day, I hope to buy a place down there too.
