Stay in Our beautiful old farmhouse on 9 acres and enjoy our fun cozy comfortable home. Close to Vassar and Marist College. Close to artsy Beacon, home of Dia and not far from Omega Institute. We have five bedrooms; one with king bed, fireplace and private bath, Second with a queen bed, a double futon, third with a Queen and a double bed and fourth room with trundle bed, and fifth room has two single beds. The house has large living room, large dining room with table that seats 10 and large kitchen with island and sitting area with a fireplace.
Also enjoy all our 9 acres offers; pond with swimming, fishing and boating( canoe, flat bottom boat and kayak), volleyball, full basketball court, 2 pickleball courts and horseshoes. We are 60 miles north of NYC. We have ample parking, wireless Internet and cable TV.
We are close to Interstate 84 and the Taconic Parkway and 20 minute drive from Metro North train station in Beacon and 15 minutes from Metro North train station in Brewster.

You will have the entire house to yourselves. I will greet you upon arrival and just show you some of the intricacies of the farmhouse so your visit will be smooth and awesome!
You can use the entire house, the pond, the boats and all the outdoor toys.
There is one part of the basement that has our personal things , so we ask that you do not go in this area. Also the finished room in the basement does not have heat so please be aware of this if renting in the winter months.

All bedrooms except the Master Bedroom have empty closets/dressers.
All boats placed upside down on racks at night.
Balls, nets, bats, etc put away in barn at night.
All garbage and recycles placed at street on Thursday nights.
Please be mindful to our neighbors, quiet hours after 10pm is not a must, but a nice gesture .
Please be considerate of our next guests who will be staying after you, if something is broken or needs fixing, please let me know.

We are in our early 60's. We have 4 grown children, 3 sons and 1 daughter. Our 2 oldest sons and daughter live in the Bay Area in California, where all 4 of our children were born. Our 3rd son lives in Florida.
We are easy going, fun and love to be around people.
This is our home. It is warm, cozy and welcoming.
