A space heater keeps the room toasty warm on cold nights.
Efficiency kitchen appliances and accessories are provided: a mini-fridge with separate freezer compartment & vegetable drawer, microwave oven, 4-cup coffee maker, electric kettle, wood cutting board, peddle trash container & compost bin, glasses, cups, plates, bowls, utensils and various other kitchen essentials. Coffee and tea is provided, as well as occasional treats.

The garage unit is old and a bit rustic, and the neighborhood is in a wooded area. It is especially appealing to anyone who loves nature and enjoys peace and quiet.
I treat my guests with respect and consideration, and expect the same of them regarding my privacy, my neighbors and my property. No loud noise is allowed at any time. Smoking is only permitted outside. Visitors are welcome, however, an occasional overnight guest must be first approved by host. As described, the room can only accommodate one person comfortably.
I grew up in Columbus, Ohio and was a Fine Arts major at OSU before moving to Massachusetts. I lived in Boston for 3 years, working summers at Cape Cod, where I met my husband. I then moved to San Francisco where I worked in the legal field while raising a family. I subsequently moved to San Diego where I currently reside. I am a retired mother of two grown children and the pet parent of a Bichon-mix fur baby. I love animals and nature, enjoy gardening, music, cooking, photography, interior decorating and water activities. Although I am a homebody, I have a sense of adventure and love to travel. In 2005 I earned a Travel Certificate from Travel University International. I have been on 5 cruises, including one through the Panama Canal, have visited various parts of Mexico many times, had a timeshare in Hawaii, and traveled through Andalusia in southern Spain. I was fluent in Spanish many years ago, but currently only speak English, with a little Spanish. I enjoy hospitality and endeavor to make my guests' stay a pleasant one.
