Spacious, relaxed, comfortable ground floor flat close to the city centre. Perfect base for visiting our city, especially if you drive - the parking restrictions start at the end of the road.
Traditional 19th century Edinburgh tenement flat. Nice and warm with constant hot water from a combi-boiler. Recently decorated, it's a nice place to spend time.
The bedroom and living/dining room are both large and pleasant. The living / dining room has space for the spare small double mattress. The kitchen is basic but functional and boasts a Smeg hob, washing machine and brand new fridge/freezer. The bathroom is a wetroom, we think it's suitable for wheelchair users - we know the seat in the shower is perfect for slowly coming round in the morning.
We are 15-20 minutes walk from Princes Street, Holyrood Palace and Parliament, the Omni Centre and old town. Museums, art galleries, shops, cafes and bars are all easy to reach. There are plenty of shops on the street; my favourite is the superb Italian bakery - Manna House - easily the best in town. Also I live 5 minutes along Easter Road so if there were any problems I can deal with them quickly.
We are at the closest point to town with free unrestricted parking, a rarity in this city of blue-meanies. The nearest bus stop (2 minutes walk) will take you to all the main places of interest in town. The next bus stop (4 minutes walk) will take you everywhere else. Perfect for short breaks, shopping trips, Christmas/Hogmanay and festival visits.
Price is from £65 per night for two people. That includes wifi, bedding, clean sheets and basic breakfast.
Thanks for your interest, Zeb David.
