Villa Alicia is a luxurious home for those who enjoy good quality of staying with affordable price. Located in a village in Yogyakarta city, it shows a blend of modern & traditional life. Villa Alicia is built based on the concept of green building.
What we love most from our neighborhood is the river and its valley. Fresh air is coming from the Tambakboyo valley and distributed through a passive air circulation system, providing a countinuous fresh environment. Built in a Kampung (village) the villa is by nature surrounded by Bamboo trees. Together with beautiful sawah (rice fields) and river located just a few steps away, they provide fresh and cool air. The surroundings of the villa suits well to our commitment to green living. Organic waste is composted, grey water is separately treated in green beds, and hot water is provided from solar system. The design of the house is also reflecting green style of living.
Villa Alicia is a typical tropical house with private veranda in every room. From the veranda you can see the daily’s life of people in our village.

When my kids are at school, I myself will be most of the time in the cafeteria, at the first floor of the villa. The cafe is open from 7 am to 9 pm, serving daily home cooking. As many students live in our village, the cafe is also serving students with student price, of course. So my guess can have a chat with me or other guess in the cafe while having a cup of coffee or fresh juice. You can also enjoy the view from the terrace, with nice music, or just busy with your gadget in this free wi-fi cafe.

We don't expect to have guess using drugs in the house/room. We would appreciate it very much if the guess can respect the local culture as our neighborhood is still quite traditional though we live in a big and modern city called Yogyakarta. The people of Yogyakarta themselves still put high values to their traditional cultures and values.
I am a mother of 2 lovely kids. I had lived and studied abroad and enjoyed traveling to many countries. It changed the way I think and live. I love to meet new people, from different countries, with many different cultures, and shared stories and experiences. I'd like to show to my kids and my neighbors that differences are beautiful if we can see the beauty in them. Let's start by meeting my daughter here. She is a blend of different cultures and values.
