Amazing views straight down Manly Beach with direct beach access via natural stone steps to the sand and no busy roads to cross. Perched up high with wrap around balconies and views from every room to the ocean, Queenscliff lagoon, & the city.
Our place is located high up with a large, open plan living space overlooking beautiful views. We have three bedrooms. master room has queen bed and ensuite + 55inch Samsung smart TV. 2nd and 3rd rooms have double beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen with Island bench, and a laundry room. (Washer dryer). This is a bright, sunny apartment where you can soak up the sun while watching the waves from the balcony. Views from every room. Wrap around balcony. Being up the north end of Manly beach makes it much less touristy and more peaceful, though we still have easy access to local facilities.

There is a designated parking space near the elevator. The main access to the block is down a long driveway off the street. There are also several access paths to both Queenscliff and Freshwater beaches, parks and cafe's with an ocean pool below the building and the heart of Manly only a 15 minute walk away.

The unit is 154 sq meters. There is a dedicated free parking place onsite. We have an air conditioner in the lounge room and fans in the bedrooms. Being up high we often can leave the floor to ceiling doors open and let the ocean breeze cool us.
(Please note due to all rooms leading to a 5th floor wrap around balcony, with sliding 'open living' doors, this place is not suitable for toddlers and young children who may climb on tables & chairs.)
The max number of people is never to exceed 5 nights. (Like most Air Bnb listings this is not a commercial property, it's our home for most of the year. It is only suited for quiet families, wanting to relax, and we need will you to validate this when you enquirer, so please send us some references. Party goers will not be tolerated, so please look elsewhere.)
As this is our family dwelling and we hope you will look after it as it is yours. We now live here 10 months of the year and travel for 2 months with our family. When we travel over Dec Jan we feel it’s a waste for the unit to sit unused so we look for options including house swap /exchange and rental. After travelling and living round the word we chose Manly and more specifically this headland and unit block as we feel it has much to offer. We hope you will enjoy it as much as us.

Please note that this is not a commercial arrangement, it is not through an agent, we do not offer a serviced apartment and we ask that you treat this unit block and our neighbors as we would. This is a place to relax, unwind and have a great holiday, (therefore we cannot allow parties, extra people staying overnight that are not pre booked , or noise (and this will result in immediate cancellation, eviction and loss of bond). Please convince us when applying that you are the right people to enjoy our place.
We are both keen users of Air Bnb and hosts. Having spent many years consulting to the hotel and travel industry we love how the shared economy works, both in its efficiency and ethically taking advantage of current resources.
We are a well traveled family who have worked and lived all over the world. We settled back to Manly for family reasons but still travel. This is our family residence, and we are happy for others to enjoy it whilst we travel. Naturally biased, we have not found a nicer place to live. We know this local area and Sydney Australia very well, and can save you lots of time by pointing you in the right direction, avoiding the tourist traps, and making you enjoy this like a local.
We love all water and snow sports. Most days we enjoy the ocean, being fortunate to have it right at our doorstep, either surfing, sailing, paddling or just swimming.
We live here and 1) we can offer a non simultaneous swap with our second holiday unit in central Manly, or 2) we do list this main Queenscliff place on Air BnB, but only for a short time non commercially when we travel. (Usually Dec Jan).
My wife and I run an international consultancy company and have written books on creative thinking and our travels. My wife is studying a PhD on innovation at Sydney Uni. Our children are at uni studying psychology and science.
