The location of Kristina's apartment could not be better for exploring old town Zadar. It is small but if you need a base for your trip and a comfortable, clean place to sleep then it's perfect. Kristina and her husband were a big help to us and gave us a lovely welcome to Croatia. Even though we arrived at midnight...her husband met us and made sure we found the place ok.....he even went and found two beers for us from somewhere....despite all the local bars being closed! We stayed there for the first three nights and then headed off to tour more of Croatia for a week. When we headed back to Zadar for the last night...we didn't have plans for accommodation and contacted Kristina on the off chance that the room was available for that one night. They re-opened the listing so that we could book it for that night....which really helped us out. Great location...lovely, helpful hosts.
Arrived late and Kristina came to meet us from the bus stop and showed us the way. Apartment was lovely and cosy. Very clean. Easy to find and in a perfect quiet location. Kristina was happy to help with anything and very quick to reply. We even went back at the end of our trip to stay again!!
Kristina's place is of great location which matters the most to a solo traveler. Took a short bus ride from the bus terminus then a short walk to the apartment, which is also walkable to the main spots as described. Wifi and air-conditioner worked well. Washing machine was not available though. Tip is to manage usage of hot water in winter during shower. Kristina was helpful and kind, and her neighbour put up a small garden right outside the apartment which was lovely. I'm not sure if this is a reason but Zadar has become my favourite Croatian city :)
