My neighborhood is extremely friendly and welcoming! We have a quiet street where everyone knows each other. It is extremely safe and picturesque.

It is an easy 5 minute walk to the Canal Street car (Carrollton and Dumaine Stop).

Wireless: The wireless internet network is "Tramp" the password is (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). The router is located behind the TV. If you are having connection issues please try to unplug and replug it in.

Apple TV: There is an Apple TV you are welcome to use. You need to switch on the black TV remote- hit source and go to HDMI then switch on the silver button for the Apple TV. Please don't purchase anything on the TV, but feel free to use what is there.

Coffee maker: Help yourself to coffee, there is no need for a filter, the filter is built into the coffee pot.

The broom and dustpan and trash bags are in the closet closest to the dining room table.

Please no smoking in or around the house, no pets in the house, and please be as respectful as possible to my neighbors (e.g. No loud music or noise in the late evenings).

In terms of cleaning up at the end of your stay, please bring out your trash (the trash bin is around the side of the house in the driveway), and leave the kitchen clean (no used dishes and the sink and dishwasher emptied). There is no glass recycling in New Orleans, but paper and cans and plastic can go in the recycling bin on the side of the house as well.

I also ask that you make sure that *all* the lights are off, windows and doors are closed, and that the AC has been turned to 80 degrees.

We had a nice stay in Meg's place. The apartment is pretty and charming and the neighborhood too. I would definitely repeat the experience.

Meg is the best and her home is the best! We LOVED this place, what a treat to be able to stay in such a beautiful home on such a stunning secluded street. The place itself is wonderfully decorated, great taste in art, design, and more. The kitchen is well stocked, the front porch well furnished, the bedrooms more than ample, everything about this place was lovely.

Meg's cottage is wonderful and much bigger that expected. She left a bottle of wine and nice note to welcome us. Our stay was easy, comfortable, and it was great to be back in my old neighborhood after being away for 10 years. Her neighbors were quiet, kind, and helpful. We more than loved it and will be back soon if she will have us! Thanks Meg!!

Great stay in mid-city area of New Orleans! Meg was an outstanding host. Her place is right by the bayou. She had flowers and wine waiting on us at arrival. Her place was immaculate. Her neighbors were also very welcoming.

Meg left a bottle of wine for us and a bouquet of roses, along with a note containing some household information. Although she was away, she made it very easy to access her place. It was all wonderfully easy and very welcoming. She is a terrific host and her place is charming. The neighborhood is great.

Meg's space was so incredible. A beauty piece of paradise right by the bayou. I live in New Orleans and my mother and sister came to stay for Thanksgiving and this was the perfect space for them! Meg was very accommodating of this and it made for a great stay. Plus she left a friendly bottle of wine for us to enjoy upon our arrival! What a treat!

Spectacular, clean and well-appointed home. We loved Meg's book collection! Very close to City Park (great oasis and playgrounds for kids), sculpture gardens and about an hour and a half walk into French Quarter (no car!). This walk gave us valuable opportunity to see lots of the historic Treme precinct and the St. John bayou. Close to trams also although these are pretty slow and crowded! Overall we loved it and would recommend to anyone who is happy to stay in a quiet area and avoid French quarter madness as much as possible! Some more detailed instructions on how to get here would be great as when we arrived the taxi driver had no idea and the street didn't come up in gps.
