The room was big and the communication easy. Everything was as advertised. The breakfast in the morning was good. Would stay where again. But keep in mind that they charge an additional 13% tax when you check out.

This B&B was excellent! Upon arrival, they upgraded us to our own four-bedroom house! Everything was close and breakfast was delicious.

Excellent location to be able to get to the falls. Out of the way of all the hustle and bustle of the other tourists. Although the Inn is under renovations in certain areas we were in the Garden Level and enjoyed our time on the newly painted patio. The weather was excellent which allowed us to spend time outside at night, and even see part of the fireworks that they do at the falls. The breakfast was wonderful. We liked being able to choose something different each day, and Chef Joseph was very accommodating if we needed to alter the recipe just a bit. I recommend the eggs benedict and the fruit crepes!

Great location and parking on-site. We had a private entrance and two separate rooms downstairs, rooms were a little old and smelt (not quite as good as the photos). The bathrooms were older as well. Beds were comfy and AC/fan in the rooms. The entrance to our rooms was covered in cobwebs and flys. There was building work going on which was fine, no noise or anything but left lots of mess around the place. The breakfast setup was quite strange, having to reserve a time and pre-order your food at check-in, when we arrived for our slot there was no table ready for us (we asked why we had to reserve then - we were told it was so there was space), we had to re-arrange the furniture or sit outside with the building work. We then waited 25 mins for our breakfast, even though we'd reserved a slot and pre-order, it came out cold and one of our party had to wait another 5 mins for hers. The options were little and they would only fill the juice jug half full. The check-out was not efficient and the girl didn't seem to know what she was doing. It was quite disappointing, I wouldn't stay again or recommend. The good things are the location and parking.

We were made to feel very welcome at the Grand Manor. Although there is ongoing construction it did not feel intrusive neither did it diminish our enjoyment of this beautiful property. Breakfast is excellent and the location is superb I have no hesitation in recommending the property to anyone visiting Niagara Falls.

I am former hotelier and have been involved in Niagara’s tourism and hospitality industry since I was ten years old. Having a history degree has led me to embrace Niagara’s colourful past and I can often be found conversing with guests on topics ranging from local geology to the wild wacky adventures of Niagara’s daredevils. I have traveled extensively in North America and Europe and can speak German, French, English, and Hungarian.

In between various stints in the local hospitality industry, I founded and still operate a software development firm which builds reservation and ticketing engines.

The other passion is the restoration of historical buildings. From our acquisition of Niagara Grandview Manor in 2014, our collective team now manages properties which were built between 1891 and 1925. My company, Niagara Historical Inns & Vacation Rentals, continues to invest heavily in the infrastructure of our historical homes. If you choose to stay with us, your family will be serviced by our central check-in service, on-site management, daily housekeeping, and finally a fabulous cooked to order breakfast courtesy of Chef Joseph Hughes.

I look forward to hosting you at one of our properties.

Yours truly,

John Pinter
