Barbara and her husband, Michele were so hospitable and attentive to our every need during our stay. They really know how to run a B&B.! The breakfast was quite a spread of all different kinds of breads, including gluten-free and organic, jams and spreads, an assortment of fruit, coffees and teas. Each room had it's own private bath, beautifully decorated in natural stones and paints. In our room there was and armoire to hang our clothes, a refrigerator, a tea kettle and a bottle for water with glasses. It was fun meeting guests from other countries out on the balcony, covered with plants, while enjoying breakfast. Michele not only picked us up from the airport, but also drove us to the Port of Civitavecchia where we caught our cruise, for a nominal fee. He also not only gave us a map and wonderful directions to see all the major sites in Rome, but also drove us to the main bus depot pointing out how to get back to the apartment. Their apartment was in a very nice residential area northwest of the Vatican. It was fun to meet and interact with the local people. They gave us directions to restaurants, ATM, and shops in the area. We had a great time, thanks to Barbara and Michele!
