The best Airbnb ever. Tim and everyone at the house was amazing - it feels like home as soon as you walk in and it has a wonderful energy. If you like yummy breakfasts, games, old historic charm, lovely people, a view, and peace, definitely check this place out!
Warm vibes, tranquil views, and excellent conversation. Tim welcomes his guests with open arms--and cooks a killer breakfast. For all those happy to have coffee with a fellow traveler, stop by Suminski. The door is open.

Thanks for the WiFi reminder and the Mary Ruefle tip.
If I like her,I'll invite both of you back for a writer's residency.
The innski has been the perfect getaway experience. The mansion itself is a beautiful building filled with an eclectic and impressive art collection, furnished with instruments from guitars, array of drums and Steinways that other guests play. Tim has a conspicuous number of musically gifted people that magically appear during breakfast hours to practice their Bach. There are many private areas to catch some zzz or read book, like the hammock or the front porch, and there is always the river and the town of Tivoli to enjoy. Definitely coming back next summer!!! Thanks Tim for the experience and the delicious eggs!
Such a fun experience staying at the Suminski Innski- the host and staff are friendly, the views are spectacular and the rooms are beautiful and well kept. My boyfriend and I went up just for the night and already want to plan another trip up there.
My partner and our little dog stayed at the Suminski Innski and had a great time. It's a beautiful house, close to Tivoli, with a beautiful lawn/garden. Upon arrival, it turned out that there was more than one room available in our price range, and so Tim let us pick -- which was really helpful, because my partner hurt her foot just before our trip, so we were very glad to take the downstairs room. The room had a very comfortable bed, clean linens, and a spacious adjoining sitting room for our use. Our pup really enjoyed the extra room to romp around. Breakfast was delicious -- mangoes, fresh blueberries and yoghurt, plus bacon, eggs, sausage, different breads and rolls and strong coffee. And the view of the Hudson River is gorgeous -- it's very pleasant to enjoy your breakfast and gaze at the river, cool birds, etc. Tim was very easy to get in touch with before and during our trip, and considerate: he only let his dog off leash around our pup after we ascertained that the two dogs did in fact get along. We'll definitely want to stay again. (Also, that teacher discount is for real!)
Charming, historic home along the banks of the Hudson River. Great location, walkable to "downtown" Tivoli. House has a familial, friendly feel with people--both guests and friends of the owner coming--and going. Host is very welcoming.
