As we discussed and agreed, the property was not ready yet for rent this year, we did not intend to rent it for Easter as we were travelling to Italy to stay there ourselves. Though, we failed to block it on Airbnb. As we received your booking less than 24 hours from your arrival, we mistakenly tried to accommodate you for fear of the negative consequences of a last minute cancellation and the bad impact on your plans. In hindsight, we now realize that cancellation was best option.
We are sorry for the bitterness and angry review, with allegation of IKEA furniture on a few items when most furniture are expensive Italian design pieces (wardrobe, kitchen, beds, mattress, couch, mosaic toilet, etc). We would have appreciated if you acknowledged the refund of 2 nights out of 4, that rate per night was not that of Easter season in Riva del Garda, as we were not prepared to rent it and that we thrived to help between airports and that you eventually had a very warm and comfortable home after 24 hours heating.
We have taken good note of your experience and are thankful for your feedback. As a further gesture, we will be happy to welcome you again at our property with a 10% discount on rates and we promised to make your experience a very good one.
