I am on the west side of Tokyo and very central to the main suburbs.
A comfortable area and a good base to explore Tokyo.
Have all the modern amenities.
I am about 30 secs from the Setagaya stn and about 20mins on bus from Shibuya stn.
A very convenient area with a couple of supermarkets, several good restaurants and bars in the area.A great place to explore and some nice parks within walking distance.

My place has three bedrooms and and is only 6 years old with all the modern amenities (*see list below) and wi-fi Internet access.

It is well located,as you can get to many of Tokyo's main attractions within an hour:

My place is about a 15minute train ride to vibrant Shibuya and all its lights, color and excitement! Then you could take the Yamanote line another stop( 5-10 mins) to Ometseando/Harajuku to enjoy the tranquility of Meiji Shrine and the Harajuku Cosplay girls and Rockabilly boys on Sunday.

From my place to Shinjuku it is only about 30 mins and I would recommend that you get a great free aerial view of this vibrant city from the top of the Tocho Building (Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building-West exit).

To get to Akihabara( Electrical Town) which sells everything in consumer electronics and accessories for prices often less than half of what you'll find at the larger chain stores or in your home country, it only takes about 50 mins.

Tsukji Fish market is about an hour away from my place. You could visit one of the most amazing markets is all of

If you are into Hiking, then within 90 mins you can be at the base of Mt Takao.
It is 599 metres (1,965 ft) and it is a popular hiking spot, with eight hiking courses.

Finally,I am within a 20 mins bike ride ( you can borrow my bike)of ShimoKitazawa.
"Shimo" as it is known to the "locals" is a small town, it is very popular among young people due to its small theater halls, live houses, bars and secondhand record shops, and this town is known as a trendsetting place for youth culture. With its many narrow alleys that are inaccessible to vehicles, it means that one can explore this bohemian town on foot.

It is a great place for shopping if you are looking for secondhand clothes shops and shops offering miscellaneous items from the 70s and old animation-themed toys. Also, this town is the many shops expressing the ingenuity of their young owners, such as those combining a cafe and a record shop or an outlet for small handmade items.
During the month-long Shimokitazawa Theater Festival, held every February, various plays are performed at eight small theaters. There is also the Kitazawa Music Festival held every July, where you can enjoy live music not only in live houses, but also in every alley throughout the town.

Milton's was a great place to to stay and was well located to access the different areas of Tokyo. The room and apartment were clean and spacious and the area was very quiet. Milton was a great host and gave some handy tips for getting around and even had some guide books to borrow. I'd stay here again for sure!

I am from Australia and have lived in Japan for many years.
At present,I teach at several universities and am a Life Coach here in Tokyo.
While in Australia I worked in 5 star Hotels and it is here that I had the wonderful opportunity to meet people from all over the world.

I have traveled to many countries and love the idea of seeing new sights/experiencing new things!
Over the years I have done all types of travelling;starting with backpacking for several years(many years ago)!

Also, this allowed me to meet a lot of people, some of them truly amazing!
Every place gave me a good memory(some however gave me some bad ones,as well!),so I cannot say I have a favorite place;however,I do like places that have got great beaches.

I have recently moved into my own place in the western part of Tokyo and have a lot of space to have guests.

Look forward to meeting new and interesting people.
