My bright 1 bedroom flat in the fashionable, lively Shore area of old Leith is whisper quiet, being off the main street. Only seconds away from some of the best pubs and restaurants in Edinburgh and 10min bus / 30min walk to the city centre.
1 good sized bedroom with a kingsize bed (linen provided) and large fitted wardrobe for your exclusive use. The bedroom's North facing and relatively cool. It gets the sun in the morning but the curtains are thick if you like to lie in.
The spacious living room has large South facing windows keeping things bright and warm all day long. There's a TV, fast broadband wifi, a hifi with CD player and Sonos for streaming music from your smartphone, etc.
The kitchen's a good size and is fully kitted out with a fan oven/grill, induction hob, washing machine, fridge, freezer and microwave. You'll find the cupboards stocked with things like rice, pasta, spices, oil, etc and there's a good number of cookery books. A dining table in the living room sits 4 comfortably.
Sparkling bathroom with large 6ft by 2.5ft shower (with a wee seat at the end), large basin with (almost) instant hot water and toilet. Towels are provided.
There are no roads directly around the building so it's nice and quiet all day long, even with the windows open. And there's free private parking out front if you're travelling by car.

There's a spare room which I'll be using for storage but apart from that you'll have the run of the flat.

I'll meet you at the property and I'm staying in Edinburgh so I'll be available if you need anything.

Getting to the Shore from Edinburgh Airport:
Taxi - It will cost around £25 to get from Edinburgh Airport to the Shore.
Bus / Tram: Get the tram to Waverley Train Station (tickets are £5 and it runs every 15 minutes) then catch the No 22 bus (tickets are £1.50 and runs every 10 minutes) to the Shore. Note, neither the bus nor the tram give change, but you can buy your tram ticket with a debit/credit card. Bus tickets are bought on the bus, tram tickets are bought from machines at the tram stops.
If you really want to save money and have a bit of time on your hands (1 hour 30 mins) you can get the number 35 Lothian Bus from the airport to Ocean Terminal shopping centre (2 minutes walk from my flat). It's only £1.50 like all the Lothian Bus services!
Sorry, no pets.
The plant's are a hardy bunch and will look after themselves.
Look after my lovely home!
