I stayed a total of one month and a half in different cities in Serbia and this was by far my best experience. Amazing, kind people, quiet, beautiful place with great surroundings, only good things to say. Anica and Dragan were kind and helpful to the point I didn't know what to do to thank them enough. I hope to come back one day!
We are very happy that we lived in the beautiful house of Anica and Dragan! The hosts greeted us very warm, treated us with delicious food and wine of own production! We really recommend, because Dragan is a professional winemaker! We got a big house, a big green courtyard with a cozy pergola, rostile, which also grows cherries, apricots, grapes. Pavlovci is very cozy, quiet and safe village. There is a good store with everything you need in five minutes walk from our house, a large beautiful lake and an interesting city Ruma with cafes, shops, green alleys nearby.
My family loved Anica's place in Pavlovci very much because of apartment itself and its soroundings (nature and small village out of city noise). Also the host - Anica was very nice and kind, so I recommend her and her place to be visited, because it is very, very good and simple, without any complications. :-)
Anica and Dragan's place is a wonderful typical Vojvodina compound. Very beautiful! We highly recommend staying if you are looking for a rural experience. The place was clean and has all you need. There is a little deli in the village but taxi's can take you to the nearer bigger villages where you can find all you need. Absolutely lovely!
Anica, along with her husband were friendly and welcoming. We received guidelines and tips about what to expect from her daughter which enabled us to be well prepared for the lovely countryside experience. The place was well-located for cycling and within short driving distance to the national park and other larger towns where restaurants and village squares await.
