Capo Vaticano - Tropea
Apartment in exclusive villa with pool and Mediterranean garden of 3500m2, equipped with all the comforts, and with stunning views of the sea, Stromboli and the Aeolian Islands.
Holiday apartments on a large parkland estate plus a pool with a sea view, large grill/barbecue area with wood burning stove and playing possibilities for children, ideal for family holidays
The property is located on the road that leads to the beach of Tono, which is 300 metres away from the property.
The house in which the holiday apartments are situated stands on a 3500 sqm, fully-fenced, beautifully planted parkland estate. The building consists of three residential units, two of which serve as holiday apartments and are located next to each other on the ground floor. The third apartment is on the first floor and is inhabited by the owners. A private road borders the property on two sides, with another property on one side and a local road on one side. The property is accessible via two vehicle gates and a pedestrian gate. The house was built in 2005 and is located in a very quiet residential area, since there are few domiciles in the neighbourhood.
Relax to your heart's content on the parkland estate with its green meadow, palm trees and Mediterranean plants. Take a refreshing dip in the pool (6x13), which adjoins a large sun terrace. From there, a spectacular view looking towards the beach of Tono guarantees relaxing sunbathing. Make use of the grill/barbecue area with its stone grill and wood-burning oven for cosy evenings at a beautiful tiled table. In addition to an outdoor shower, there is a laundry area with the possibility of doing washing by hand and hanging it up to dry. A small wooden house for the little ones to play, as well as swings and a tennis table guarantee a fun-filled holiday for the whole family. Furthermore, various garden furniture and sports equipment is available to the guests. The property has a chapel in honour of St Rita of Cascia. A fair is held there every year on her Memorial Day, 22 May. A parking area is at your disposal on the property. On the south side of the building, you can let your eye wander over the unspoiled part of the foothills of Capo Vaticano with the macchia vegetation which is typical for the Mediterranean area, while on the side facing the sea, there is a panoramic view of Stromboli and the Aeolian Islands, with beautiful sunsets. A fitting name for this area of the property would probably be the "marine terrace".
The property is situated in the comune of Tono at Capo Vaticano in the municipality of Ricadi. There are gastronomic and shopping possibilities a few hundred metres from the house, such as bars, restaurants, pizzerias and supermarkets. The closest comunes are San Nicolò - two kilometres away, Santa Domenica - six kilometres away, and Tropea – eight kilometres away. The train station of Ricadi is 500 metres away. The beach of Tono, which is accessible via the local road that adjoins the property, is 300 metres away. There is a public parking area at the beach and there are various services on offer. In the neighbourhood, less than one kilometre away, are other beautiful sandy beaches (e.g. Grotticelle and Praia i Focu), breathtaking cliffs and the lighthouse of Capo Vaticano with its famous observation point.
