This is a condo unit we usually rent for long term renters, but in the mean time we thought it may be suitable for tourists looking for a value away from the main tourist areas. There are several hotels in the area, but most are older. Pradipat Rd. in front of the condo has several restaurants, massage, money exchangers, and shops. Pradipat used to be a major tourist and expat area in the 60s and 70s, and you can still see the remains of some of the Vietnam era shops and buildings. Getting a Taxi in front of the building is easy, and should be most free from dishonest drivers found in tourist hotspots.
Condo is mostly occupied by working class Thai people and about 10% Foreigners.
Great location, 900 meters (10min walk, 1-2 min moto taxi) walkable to BTS Saphankwai and Phaholyothin Road. Close to JJ weekend market, Big C, Paolo Hospital, Villa Market Aree and Rama VI express way entrance and exit. Nice and warm environment with recreation area, club house, swimming pool, gym, shops, surrounding food vendors and restaurants. Easy access from either Phaholyothin, Rama VI and Kampangpetch road. West facing unit (sunset view).
The 28th floor unit is fully furnished - 1 bedroom with balcony, 1 bathroom, 1 built-in kitchen with balcony.
In the Room:
Water heater, bathtub, bed, dining table and 4 chairs, L shaped couch, refrigerator, 2 burner range, hood, 2 aircons, washing machine, and local phone.
- ADSL with Linksys four port WiFi router. Stated speeds 8mb down / 1mb up from TOT.
- Building wide WiFi service with scratch card access, buy cards at the downstairs restaurant.
10 thb Shuttle Van to BTS (Sapan Kwai) and MRT (Kampang Phet).
Shops & restaurant

- Borrow a local's phone - cost is 5thb maximum ($0.15) (20thb note covers their hassle)
- Send an email from an airport internet cafe
- Get WIFI access on your device at an airport coffee shop on 3rd floor
- Get coins for a local payphone (replace +66 with 0)
Weekly and monthly rental price includes utilities, (water, electric, inet). Base cost of the unit is 18,000 Baht per month for yearly renters. Contact us if you are interested in a long term rental.

Auch wen Bryan nicht vor Ort war, hat die Kommunikation mit ihm sehr gut funktioniert.
Das Apartment war sehr sauber und gut gelegen. Eigentlich schon Luxuriös für Bankoker verhältnisse.
We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was easy to communicate with Apple and Bryan. I found them to be honest, trustworthy, and helpful. We have traveled to Bangkok many times and have stayed in all sorts of accommodations from expensive hotels to guest houses and have found staying in apartments to give us the best of both worlds. This apartment is quite nice, clean and comfortable. The view from the 28th floor is spectacular! i was a bit skeptical about the location at first because it is somewhat out of the normal touristy area but that is what we fell in love with the most! The apartment is a 10 minute walk to the BTS (skytrain) and from there it is a cool, comfortable ride to any of those touristy places you want to go. The neighborhood has everything you could possibly want including many clean street food options, pizza delivery, a big C grocery, and a very convent mini market right on site. Fresh fruit vendors all around. The exciting Bangkok weekend market is very close, as are 2 very lovely, large green (central) parks. The metro entrance is right by the market which also opens up many other possibilities for travel around the city. This apartment complex comes with a lovely, equipped, up to date exercise room, beautiful pool, sauna/steam, etc... Play area for children too. Security is excellent! You will not get better. Washing machine and kitchen make traveling light a breeze! If staying a few days, pick up a rabbit pass for the BTS. It's cheap and easy and gets you all around. Just ask a teller on the BTS platform; it's easy. You can get a 1 day unlimited on/off tourist pass or passes good for 15, 25, ... rides. 15 rides, coming and going is only 7 trips - don't let it scare you, well worth every Bhat!)
The reservation was canceled 20 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
10 nights here. So we had the feel for the area and the property, very good is the answer we can give.
Friendly hosts, helpful before and during our stay.
Good wifi options.
Good transport links to town with the BTS. Would recommend buying a 15 trip card if you are there for more than 5 days. By far the best way to travel from the apartment.
Facilities / pool very nice, always monitored / clean.
Gym basic facilities to cater for most people.
Good air conditioning.
Friendly security and building managers who are helpful.
Good shuttle bus to BTS. Only 10Baht.
Area is very NON tourist, so be prepared for local culture, its very nice.
Lovely garden cafe right over the road from the complex, well worth a visit.
Big C supermarket walking distance away if you dont like the 7-11 style one downstairs.
Overall spacious, economical and would have no problem recommending to anyone wanting a good 1 bedroom apartment in Bangkok.
My only regret following this stay is that I was not at this apartment for a longer time! I had used another property for a month and needed at the last moment to stay for a longer time in Bangkok so I searched and found Bryan's listing. He was prompt in responding and the entire information exchange and booking process was prompt and friendly. The condo complex is located in a wonderful (and very Thai) section of Bangkok that is well-served by public transportation. The property itself is very modern and spotlessly clean, the apartment has an amazing view, and I would highly recommend it to travelers. I hope I will be back here soon!
The apartment was very bright and spacious. As it is at the 28/F of one of the only handful of tall buildings in the area, the view is panoramic as shown in the photos, with lots of sunlight. The apartment itself was kept very clean with all the necessities presence, such as decent wifi access, cool air-conditioners ... etc. The buildings were very secure with 24hrs guards and resident-card access doors and lifts. The building management were very friendly and helpful too, they would help call the taxi and communicate your destinations in Thai to the taxi driver for you. The building is around 20min walk from the nearest BTS station Saphan Kwai, which is only 6 stops (30thb BTS fare) away from the downtown/ shopping Siam station. Thanks to Apple and Bryan, we had a very pleasant stay in their apartment, we actually went back for a second stay after our excursion to Pattaya before leaving Bangkok. My wife and I had a very enjoyable time in Thailand, people there (even the taxi drivers!) are easy-going and smiles a lot.
The place is actually very nice - it's on the 28th floor and spacious (living room area with big couch, air conditioning in both rooms, bedroom with big closet and balcony, bathroom with hot water, kitchen with fridge and washer/dryer for laundry). We never personally met Bryan but e-mailed back and forth through airbnb. We talked wiith his wife when we landed who was very nice and with their maid who let us into the room and showed us where everything was located.
The only problem we had was when we first arrived in Bangkok from the airport and took a taxi to their place. The name of the building is Lumpini (there is a Family Mart right below it) so if you stay here, make sure you have that name written down. We didn't and got dropped off near Elizabeth Hotel and ended up passed the place three times before we found it.
The pool on the main floor is great! Took advantage of that at night after a long day of walking. There is also a pretty decent workout centre in the same area if you have time to hit up the gym. Lastly, there is lots of good street vendors to eat at if you cross the street from the building. And Chatuchak Weekend Market is very close (take the Lumpini shuttle bus for 10 baht and you'll get dropped off right by one of the entrances).

Hi I'm Bryan, an expat from USA. I have been living in Thailand for more than 15 years now. In Thailand I ride motorcycles, try and eat good food, enjoy time with my family and geek out a bit too much.
I'm currently helping landlords list their properties on airbnb.
