This is a condo unit we usually rent for long term renters, but in the mean time we thought it may be suitable for tourists looking for a value away from the main tourist areas. There are several hotels in the area, but most are older. Pradipat Rd. in front of the condo has several restaurants, massage, money exchangers, and shops. Pradipat used to be a major tourist and expat area in the 60s and 70s, and you can still see the remains of some of the Vietnam era shops and buildings. Getting a Taxi in front of the building is easy, and should be most free from dishonest drivers found in tourist hot spots.
Condo is mostly occupied by working class Thai people and about 10% Foreigners.
Great location, 900 meters (10min walk, 1-2 min moto taxi) walkable to BTS Saphankwai and Phaholyothin Road. Close to JJ weekend market, Big C, Paolo Hospital, Villa Market Aree and Rama VI express way entrance and exit. Nice and warm environment with recreation area, club house, swimming pool, gym, shops, surrounding food vendors and restaurants. Easy access from either Phaholyothin, Rama VI and Kampangpetch road. West facing unit (sunset view).
The 28th floor unit is fully furnished - 1 bedroom with balcony, 1 bathroom, 1 built-in kitchen with balcony.
In the Room:
Water heater, bathtub, bed, dining table and 4 chairs, L shaped couch, refrigerator, 2 burner range, hood, 2 aircons, washing machine, and local phone.
- ADSL with Linksys four port WiFi router. Stated speeds 8mb down / 1mb up from TOT.
- Building wide WiFi service with scratch card access, buy cards at the downstairs restaurant.
10 thb Shuttle Van to BTS (Sapan Kwai) and MRT (Kampang Phet).
Shops & restaurant
As we do not live close by and are usually very busy, we must insist on a phone call or email once you arrive in Thailand so we can know when to go and meet you.
You can do this by various methods:
- Buy a 50thb ($1.50) Thai SIM at the airport and put it in your unlocked phone
- Borrow a local's phone - cost is 5thb maximum ($0.15) (20thb note covers their hassle)
- Send an email from an airport internet cafe
- Get WIFI access on your device at an airport coffee shop on 3rd floor
- Get coins for a local payphone (replace +66 with 0)
Weekly and monthly rental price includes utilities, (water, electric, inet). Base cost of the unit is 18,000 Baht per month for yearly renters. Contact us if you are interested in a long term rental.

Ett privat boende med fantastisk utsikt över Bangkok!
Vi har haft möjligheten att bo i Bryans och Apples lägenhet vid två tillfällen denna vår och skulle mer än gärna bo där igen om/när vi åker till Bangkok i framtiden!
De är otroligt enkla att kommunicera med och har alltid funnits tillgängliga för oss när vi behövt. Boendet motsvarar definitivt bilderna och vi har verkligen uppskattat att kunna laga mat, använda gymmet, simma lite i poolen och att kunna hänga hemma i soffan framför tv:n när vi inte känt för att utforska Bangkok :)
Flera bra restauranger i närheten och 10-15 minuters promenad till Saphan Kwai BTS (15-20 min och 37 baht till Siam för shopping i city). På samma gata som Saphan Kwai BTS ligger stormarknaden Big C. En station bort (alt. 20 minuters promenad eller 50 baht med taxi) ligger Ari där det finns en mycket välsorterad (och dyrare) matbutik "Villa Market", caféer, mycket bra streetfood och trevliga restauranger (ex. Lay Lao).
It's a pleasant apartment with an astonishing view, also from the common terrace on the 28th floor. The building premises also have a relaxed and very 'local' atmosphere, there's even a small library where people ready and study. Communication with Apple was smooth, and picking up key very late at night was possible too. The neighborhood is worth exploring, especially the sois in the 'Ari' area.
The apartment is great, very spacious and homely! It's well furnished. Unlike many other Bangkok condo, the kitchen is separated from the living room, that we found very convenient. There is a nice 4 seats dining table and two balconies, one even with a chair.
The view of the skyline of Bangkok is marvelous from the window, and it is two floors below the roof, nice and airy!
The compound of the Condo is large with many sitting area, playground and swimming pool, very family friendly. (For those who are looking for nightlife and entertainments, this might not be the neighbourhood for you!) There are convenient stores and laundry within the compound area, really self contained.
The road outside is lined with all sort of delicious Thai food stores, you'll never go hungry. There is a mall nearby with a superstore, BTS is about 10 minutes walk. Overall speaking it is very ideal.
Apple has been very accommodating and very helpful, she is really a very caring host. Highly recommended and surely looking forward to stay again!
We had great stay at Bryan's / Apple's apartment. The area is not far from the center when you need to get there, but at the same time is not touristy at all.
We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was easy to communicate with Apple and Bryan. I found them to be honest, trustworthy, and helpful. We have traveled to Bangkok many times and have stayed in all sorts of accommodations from expensive hotels to guest houses and have found staying in apartments to give us the best of both worlds. This apartment is quite nice, clean and comfortable. The view from the 28th floor is spectacular! i was a bit skeptical about the location at first because it is somewhat out of the normal touristy area but that is what we fell in love with the most! The apartment is a 10 minute walk to the BTS (skytrain) and from there it is a cool, comfortable ride to any of those touristy places you want to go. The neighborhood has everything you could possibly want including many clean street food options, pizza delivery, a big C grocery, and a very convent mini market right on site. Fresh fruit vendors all around. The exciting Bangkok weekend market is very close, as are 2 very lovely, large green (central) parks. The metro entrance is right by the market which also opens up many other possibilities for travel around the city. This apartment complex comes with a lovely, equipped, up to date exercise room, beautiful pool, sauna/steam, etc... Play area for children too. Security is excellent! You will not get better. Washing machine and kitchen make traveling light a breeze! If staying a few days, pick up a rabbit pass for the BTS. It's cheap and easy and gets you all around. Just ask a teller on the BTS platform; it's easy. You can get a 1 day unlimited on/off tourist pass or passes good for 15, 25, ... rides. 15 rides, coming and going is only 7 trips - don't let it scare you, well worth every Bhat!)
