It has a Walk Score of 98 out of 100. This location is a Walker’s Paradise so no car is required. Very comfortable, quiet and clean. This apt is on the top 3rd floor with intercom access. The window view of the Brooklyn Ave is nice.

( In the whole month of May, we will welcome summer interns for at least 2 months stay and do not intend to accept any short stay less than a month in May or June), Large clean furnished studio on the 3rd floor facing Brooklyn Ave with a open view which is rare in U District. It has a large private kitchen and bathroom.
*Equipped kitchen and dining room and full bath (both bath and showers available) with towels and mat.
*Furniture include a queen bed, a lazy boy chairs, large desk, TV and TV stand, dining table and chairs.
*Quiet, conveniently located in the heart of U District.
*Free business level wifi!
*New Maytag washers and dryers in the building
* Controlled secure access.
* Easy access to I-5. 10 min to get to down town normally; 20+min in rush hour.

Interesting! many tenants have asked me if the building is mostly empty for it is so quiet. On the contrary, it is 95% fully occupied. Due to the good insulation and solid structure, the sound proof is very good.
This lovely brick building, originally a classic hotel and a landmark, is in a great location at the heart of the U District but is very quiet due to good management, located between NE 45th and 46th St. on Brooklyn Ave. There are bike and walking paths (You can also rent one of my bikes for $5.00/day or $25/wk and take the Burke Gilman trail to Lake Washington), bus lines, grocery stores (Trader Joe, Safeway), movie theater and restaurants within close distances. Farmer market* is 2 blocks away on the same street. Seattle, the Emerald City, boast some of the nations best mass transportation. Many bus lines just around the corner which only take you 10 seconds to. You can go anywhere in town. Most tenants are quiet graduate student or visiting scholars.

Our 560 square feet large studio with private kitchen and bathroom is reasonably priced compared with $400 hotel price per night in summer.

Short term Corporation Housing tenants are welcome.

The University District Farmers Market is on the Brooklyn Ave NE & NE 50th St, it is Seattle's oldest and largest farmers/food-only neighborhood market. Founded in 1993, this Saturday market is nationally recognized as one of the best farmers markets in the U.S. Over sixty Washington State farmers and artisan food producers offer an excellent selection of seasonal produce, cheeses, eggs, meats, poultry, seafood, baked goods, preserves, market bites (ready-to-eat foods) and more throughout the year.

This is on the 3rd floor quiet corner with no elevator.
The owner will pay for the water, sewer, electricity and solid waste. The tenant use electricity judiciously. For long term guests, If the electricity usage is over $80/mo (over 28 days) for one guest or over $100 for two guests, the guests will pay the difference. This is the way that we do not casually waste energy.

For monthly rental, due to its discounted rate than weekly or daily rental, tenants provide those consumable household items.

*Monthly renters due to the lower rent compared to daily/weekly renters need to buy their own essentials like toilet paper, detergent etc, we only provide the initial usage.
Please do not use washer and dryer in the late evening.

I stayed here for 2 weeks during a relocation to Seattle. Nice and comfortable studio with everything you need to get by. It was very clean and tidy. The building and area is very quiet considering it's location. Most everything you need is very close by: tons of restaurants, several bars, Safeway and Trader Joes, pharmacy, good public transit access. The windows face west, so I the summer on hot days it can get quite warm in the apartment until a few hours after sunset. Like some other areas of Seattle, this area has a few homeless/vagrant/loiterers. But they are mostly young, keep to themselves and rarely panhandle. Not an issue, but good to know what to expect. READ THE ITINERARY (I didn't) It has everything you need to know about how to get access to the building, wifi, etc. Great value studio.

Melissa was helpful and had everything clean and ready for us when we got there. A block away from Safeway and a few places to eat, and a block away from bus lines was great! The only thing I wish was said was that the windows were kind of broken, we had to use something to keep them open because it was so hot. There was a small fan though which helped a bit. Other than that our stay was great.

The picture is a bit prettier than reality. Overall this is a very old but clean apartment. I smelled very strong disinfectant at the first day, the same type used in the hospital. The description of this list is otherwise accurate. This room is facing south with no A/C equipped so it could be very hot during the day time in summer. There is a small fan tho. Melissa was very busy and occupied those days but she answered my questions in time and gave me comforter upon request. She didn't show up upon my arrival at 9pm, instead she showed up the other morning. She is a fine host in my opinion. I read some of her other reviews and found them interesting. I guess there could be a bit of cultural conflict but she is a nice person.

Melissa was available to let us in and give a quick tour of the room. The facility came as described, including towels and soap/shampoo. She was also accessible and responsive via text messages. Very professional. The neighborhood felt very safe.

Very close to the UW, lots of restaurant, easy access to bus. Anyway, the smell in the building was not good, the furniture was too old. If you want stay alone in university district, it will be a right place. But if you want spend some time with the house owner and share the local experience, not this.

I had a long planned annual cruise trip (7 days) with my parents the second day after Ning checked in so I did not have much time to chat with him before I left. Well, maybe next time. Honestly the location is in the center of U district that everything is easily accessible by foot.
