We are on the beach which is just within reach from this hut. Though really small (about 10 sq. m.) you will have you own small un-obstructed view of the beach and nearby islands. Flooring is made of bamboo and the walls as well.

You will unlimited access to the beach. There is also a small restaurant in the property that serves cold drinks and cooks fresh seafoods, meats, and veggies. Motorbikes, kayaks is available for rental. We also organize private island tours in Eastern El Nido area.

We have stay-in staff that will look after you all the time. My brother who manages the place comes to the place everyday as well.

The place is still secluded and but not so far from the village of Sibaltan, about 15 minute walk, if need to buy basic things. We have a few neighbors, aside from the stay in staffs and a couple of other guests.

Getting to Tapik from El Nido Town

Natural Setting
Being in a tropical environment, insects such as mosquitos, fireflies, dragon flies, and some other insects are common being a part of the natural ecosystem. It's better to have some insect repellant with you. As well as animals that feed on this insects like house lizzards, and gecko. Domesticated animals are also present nearby like chickens, turkey, dogs, cats, pigs, cows, carabao, and so on.

Cuyunon is the langauge commonly used by the folks in Tapik. Tagalog is widely spoken and basic English for most of the locals.

Immigration Requirements
Visitors from most countries do not require a special visa, with stays of up to 21 days granted on arrival, provided that they have a valid ticket for their return or onward journey. Some information in the internet might help.

Its is always safer to bring some mosquito repellant lotions to protect against insect bites. No vaccinations are required unless you come from a cholera- or yellow fever-infected region, in which case a certificate of vaccination is required.

Philippines being a tropical and humid casual, lightweight clothing, ideally from natural fibres, is most comfortable. And don't forget to bring your swimming gears in case you decide to get wet.

Please use Globe or Touch Mobile SIM cards in Tapik. Other providers might not have the best reception.

Internet Access
Internet can be accessed in the village of Sibaltan, just a few minutes walk, with your smartphones using Globe network. Our apologies if we cannot provide you wifi internet as much as we want to. Trees are blocking the 3G signals
