Furnished 4 bedroom house is located on dead end road on Browns Pond in Staatsburg NY ten minutes from Rhinebeck. This house is about 1 hour 45 minutes from city. Cozy firepl Very quiet with access to 5 miles of trails on my 240 acre farm next door.

The house is on Brown's Pond with a short walk through the woods to the pond where there is a dock for swimming and a rowboat. Nice cozy fireplace for those cold snowy nights!

Pond Front dock. 5 miles of horse trails (no horses) on owners next door property

Quiet and nature, at the end of a cul de sac.

Amtrak is in Rhine cliff about 15 minutes drive.
Metro North is in Poughkeepsie half hour away.
The Dutchess County fair is happening in Rhinebeck 10 minutes away.

There is the Redhook aerodrome which happens every Saturday at 2 PM.

Omega Institute is about 2 miles away seven minutes by car.

Pets are welcome but there will be an extra $25 pet cleaning fee.

He sold the company in 2005 and is currently CEO and CFO of IceStone a company that makes countertops out of recycled glass and cement in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. He served as a Advisory Board of the Bainbridge Graduate Institute (BGI) and Bard College’s MBA program schools which are 'Changing Business For Good' He has written, 'Raising Eyebrows, A Failed Entrepreneur Finally Gets It Right', to inspire people to start and run businesses while doing it responsibly. In1980 when he founded Tweezerman Corporation Dal practiced responsible capitalism by striving to benefit all stakeholders: including shareholders, employees, customers, vendors, and the community. Dal served on the Social Venture Network (SVN) Advisory Board of Directors and co-chaired the Best Tools & Practices Committee for Corporate Socially Responsible Businesses. He is Board Emeritus of Yes Magazine, a partner in Domini Social Equity Fund, Margaret O’Leary Stores, E.O. Naturals, Ubiquity School and IceStone. Dal is the Executive Producer of seven films, four or them about the Iraq War: 'The War Tapes', 'The Ground Truth', 'Iraq for Sale' and 'Meeting Resistance' one about Sudan 'War Child, Emmanuel Jal', The Last Dalai Lama? and Dying To Know the lifelong friendship of Timothy Leary and Ram Das. During the Bush Administration Dal work as a citizen diplomat. NPR’s This American Life produced a show about Dal’s efforts to negotiate a cease-fire between Iraqi insurgents and the coalition forces: Man vs. History' Dal LaMagna ran for U.S. Congress twice on Long Island, New York. He ran for President of the United States in 2008 as a Democrat.
Dal received his MBA in 1971 and MPA in 2001 both from Harvard. His B.A. was earned at Providence College. He spent his Junior Year at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. He is currently living in Rhinebeck and Manhattan NY.
