I completely agree with the "give me notice if you are going to come in the house when Guests are not there". As you remember, I left my sunglasses on the counter when I greeted you. The next day I came back to get them, and I called and knocked, and then I saw them on the dining table, so I came in, only to find that the house was an ICEBOX, A/C turned down to 70, which is way below "comfortable" for any Human, and EVERY single light was on in the house, All thru the house every light was on, WHY?!, in broad daylight? ALL I did was put the A/C up to 75, and turn off all the lights except the entry way, in case you were coming home at dark. Then I left. This home is TOTALLY lit by Timers, at the Gate, the deck, and the Kitchen. Its virtually impossible to come to my home in the dark and not easily find your way into the house. This is thoughtful and purposeful on my part. I am environmentally very conservative and I really didn't want to pay $mega bill in electric expenses...and believe me, in the Hamptons the PSEG bills are insane. I definitely DO want all of my Guests to be comfortable., however, I don't want to finance waste. I am daily at WAR w the Ants... and mostly I am winning, and as annoying as they are, at least they are only ANTS! Not spiders or cockroaches or something worse. I apologize if you hate Ants. God knows I DO! Well, only in the house. I don't hate them outside.
