A charming, tiny, eclectic one-bedroom home in a former tenement in Dublin's famous Liberties.
Within walking distance of Guinness, IMMA, Christchurch and Patrick's Cathedral, but out of the hustle and bustle of the City Centre.
Accommodation comprises entrance hallway, livingroom/kitchen, one bedroom en suite, access to city garden at rear.

Der Wohnraum

This charming, stylish pied a terre makes the perfect base for exploring Dublin's oldest neighbourhood or just kicking back with a good book. (And you'll find many good books in the apartment!)
The livingroom/kitchen - at the front of the building - gets beautiful light in the morning while still retaining its privacy. A basic breakfast is provided for your stay. This includes home made marmalade, fresh brown bread and free range eggs to set you up for your day.
The bedroom is at the back of the building so it's quiet when you most need it to be. The bed is dressed in a mix of cottons and Irish Linen, some handmade. Coladh sámh, as we say in Irish; sleep well/tight (lit. \"restful sleep\")

Zugang für Gäste

You'll have an entire (cosy!) apartment to yourself & access to a shared back yard/sun trap.

This will depend very much on my work (freelance Costume Designer), there will be occasions when I am not available, but my friend Gill will be happy to help! You have the place to yourself, so you wont see me unless you want to!

Clodagh's Urban Oasis is a nice and cozy appartment in the liberties right next to the Guinness Brewery and just a 10-15 min walk away from Temple Bar. The Appartement itself really has everything you need. Very clean and tidy. Our host Clodagh was helpful with nice tips for pubs and restaurants to spend the evening/night. I highly recommend this place. We had a great time. Thanks a million. Eli & Tobii (Hamburg, Germany)

Clodagh was a great host. Although she couldn´t be there in person she had a friend waiting for us at the apartment to let us in and tell us everything we needed to know. Everything was just as advertised; the place is lovely, cosy, beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed was comfortable and big enough for us (my son and I are both pretty tall). Although we spend more time in the great Dublin pubs and walking around, we felt right at home. There were Dublin maps and recommendations for restaurants and bars that were helpful. The location is terrrific, with a bus stop just around the corner and the train station in short walking distance. And downtown was just a 15 minute walk away. The Urban Oasis is one big reason why the weekend in Dublin was a great experience. Thank you, Clodagh! We would love to come back.

Everything was very smooth with Clodagh. She replied to all our enquiries and met up with us very late - additionally she had prepared some basic food and drinks for us so that we didn't have to go shopping first thing in the morning. I would definitely recommend Clodagh for your stay in Dublin.

We had a nice welcome and a very good instruction how heating and other stuff works. Also great advices for sightseeing, pubs and must-sees in Dublin. We felt like home in the Urban Oasis and are happy about our first Irish experiences! Thanks a lot, Clodagh!

Hi Marta, I'm sorry to hear your experience of public transport was so frustrating! Unfortunately Dublin Bus do not charge by the number of stops (they charge by "stages") so everybody, visitor or resident is charged the highest rate. There is a link to a public transport website - (URL HIDDEN) - in the information folder in the apartment, and it shows you where your bus stop is on a map. I'm not sure if you used this site? I will ensure the attention of future guests is drawn to this as it is an aspect of Dublin life that is confusing and expensive. Many thanks for your feedback, I hope you will visit again!

Clodagh was a great host. She was every time availlable. She was punctual to show us the appartement and give us the keys. Also she put bread cheese eggs and some other things for our disposal. A little bit unpleasant was the condition of cleaness in the bathroom, it should be a must to find it clean. And it was cold in there :( We found very interesting dvd, unfortunately there was no player. You will find a lot of books and magazins for reading. The appartement is good located, bus station is just around the corner and also the luas is good to reach.

I am very sorry to hear that the level of cleanliness wasn't up to standard & have contacted Sarah to arrange a partial refund. I only wish this was highlighted while Sarah was in the apartment so I could have addressed it sooner.
