It is really an opportunity for you to get away from the street noise and enjoy some serenity in a typical Sri Lankan village. People are beautiful and gentle but at times will be curious.

Weitere wichtige Infos
In the early mornings, you may see monkey's in the trees. They will sometimes venture into the terrace and if door are open into the house, so please don't leave any food or even books lying around, as they will take it with them. PLEASE also do not try to feed them as they might get aggressive and fight for the food amongst themselves. Please also don't miss-treat them in anyway as it is their home also and they were there long before my parents built the house there :-) So in essence we have moved into their neighborhood.
Please don't smoke inside the house as this is a safety hazard. Please be conscious of the neighbors, but you will have a lot of privacy to be yourself as the house is well away from the road.

I was born in Sri Lanka but also Australian. Have lived most of my life in Australia but at present I live in the UK. I live in beautiful Cambridge and work at a local University.
I work in Marketing and have traveled to a great deal thanks to my work taking me to various places around the world plus a genuine interest in places but more so people.
It is still a great feeling waking up in a new city and even better meeting people from all these new surroundings.
Too many places to visit, too little time,
