This new house offers two 15 sq meter double rooms (plus private bathroom) on the upper floor at USD 10 / day and 7 single rooms below.

Location: On the close outskirts of Yogya toward Mt Merapi near Jl Kaliurang and 4 km from Yogya Bay Water Park

Der Wohnraum

This house hosts Mrs 'iis' and offers seven single rooms on long term lease to local college students downstairs as well as two exlusive double guest rooms upstairs. The rooms upstairs have their private bath room / shower with hot water, TV, WiFi, aircon and a double bed, wardrobe, table, chairs at USD 10 / day. It is 15 square meters / 155 sq foot without counting the bathroom.

The area is on the near outskirts of Yogyakarta (towards Mount Merapi along Jalan Kaliurang), and 4km away from Yogya Bay. The house was completed only recently in 2014 and the rooms are clean and welcoming.

The ceilings in the house are high so there is a nice feeling of space. This house is shared by local long term students and short term guests!

Zugang für Gäste

Guests have access to pretty much the entire house with a combined living and kitchen area as well as a balcony upstairs and a spacious hallway downstairs. The living area has a TV with Western channels.

Interaktion mit Gästen

The idea is to welcome friends to the house rather than 'guests' like only a hotel would call it. Apart from being Mrs 'iis' residence, the house was designed to be a guest house with all non-private areas to be shared with the guests. We are offering food and laundry service for guests who desire these additional services. If you like to hang out with the other people in the house that is really fine and fun, but you can also enjoy your privacy in your room. If you want info on what to do during your stay in Yogya and how to explore the region beyond, we will be glad to assist - just like you would do when you have guests in your town!

Alcohol is prohibited in the house. Smoking is allowed in the public areas and you must be aware that smokers are usually present as this is Indonesia!

my stay in the merapi guest rooms I really enjoyed. If you have a scooter, you have the option of living here in a traditional farm village away of the busy town but in the near of the nice town yogya. the house is new and everything is clean. Woro is a very nice and caring hostess. I liked it and can only recommend this rooms.
