Good way description, easy to find. Very relaxing sun terrace, a lot of plants and trees surround the mill. Located in a quiet village. Not far from some beautiful and not too crowded beaches.
The whole mill, but especially the bedrooms in the basement had a very musty smell, which didn't disappear even after opening the windows for several hours. In addition, there were spiders everywhere (even dead ones), so it appeared the rooms had not been cleaned thoroughly before our arrival.
1. Right after the booking, Giovanna told us that normally we should have paid a higher price, but due to her mistake regarding the price settings, we now wouldn't have to. She made clear that she wasn't happy about the (her) mistake.
2. Before our arrival we were informed that there wouldn't be any linen change or cleaning during our 10 day-stay, which otherwise would have been included if she wouldn't have made the price mistake.
3. When we finally arrived, only 2 out of 3 bedrooms were cleaned and equipped with linen. The house description clearly stated 3 bedrooms. We had to engage in a rather long discussion via Airbnb and on the phone with Giovanna in order to explain her the reasons why we needed the 3rd bedroom. In fact, we were 2 couples, and she wouldn't understand why there could be any need for a third bedroom. We found the necessity to point out to her the reasons really odd since we had booked the whole and paid for place as described in her offer and not just a part of it. Even then, she wanted us to get the linen ourselves from a village 10 minutes away by car and she didn't offer any cleaning in the first place. Eventually, after a more or less fruitless discussion, Giovanna employed her housekeeper to clean the third bedroom on the next day.
4. Suddenly during our stay we were informed on really short notice, that a real estate agency would come to the house with clients within the next 3 hours. At that time were were more than 2 hours away. All our private things and things of value weren't locked away. After stating our surprise and our unease with this "invasion" and asking for a postponement of this unexpected and unsupervised visit, the host made clear that the visit had to take place on this day. She also noted, that we should have seen a "for sale" sign outside of the house (no one told us about that), which could have informed us about the situation in advance. After further discussion, it became clear that we had no real choice. Giovanna offered us an aperitif at some bar as some kind of reparation, which we found rather insulting.
