Take the free 24hr Harrop cable ferry and slip back into a simpler time. Set in the eclectic retro style of the 1970s, our rental is located close to the ferry landing in a secluded, forest setting with private driveway and ample parking.
Great location for every imaginable outdoor pursuit: mountain biking, golfing, swimming, hiking, walking, boating, fishing, hot spring dipping and exploring. This is a cozy, comfy, clean place however Starbucks is not around the corner, wildlife wander through on a daily basis. Our place is located on an active farm that is surrounded by wilderness at the base of the Selkirk Mountains. We have had numerous return guests who rave about our unique spot and come back year after year, most of these folks stayed with us long before airbnb existed.
Feel free to call us and ask questions, we are proud of our acreage and our way of life, city life it ain't but that's the beauty of this place and we wouldn't want it any other way.
Ride your bike to the bakery in Procter for a fresh world-famous cinnamon bun, espresso or double americano or visit Sunshine Bay for a swim. If you must shop we are a short drive from great boutiques, galleries, and restaurants in Nelson or Kaslo.
Our location gives you a very private unique spot, you will have your own driveway entrance and private parking area.

Waterfront: 200m walk to Kootenay Lake. Enjoy glacier-fed Harrop Creek right on the property.

Children are welcome! Small, friendly dogs also welcome with prior approval requested, $25/per dog/per visit

Mill Creek Farm is a working farm. Wild animals, mostly deer, frequent this acreage on a daily basis. Storms can occur on occasion causing power interruptions.
