We like to personally welcome guests and are based half an hour away, always contactable by phone to deal with any questions you might have. If we are away or unavailable we have a key box on the door where keys can be left securely for guests to collect. We like guests to feel that they are in their own home and so will never 'drop in' unannounced and leave you to enjoy your holiday unless you require our help in any way.
We have a smoke free house and are unable to accommodate pets due to family members who have allergies. Milobel house is our family home for part of the year and we expect people to treat it with respect and leave the house as they find it. In our experience guests are very considerate and don't need a long list of rules!

We have lived in Bodmin now for 8 years and love the Cornish life! Our lives are very busy- I am a teacher, my husband is a ambulance driver. I love music and I am part of a local folk band (The Grenaways) which is becoming increasingly busy and taking us on lots of adventures. We have lots of favourite places to visit locally- at the moment one of my favourites is Respryn- a wood a couple of miles away. We always come back covered in mud, but climbing trees and cycling along by the river is heaven for 2 little boys! We go to Polzeath beach every week as its only half an hour away, and lots of our friends are based around that area. I have always wanted to have a home that is a place people feel welcome and can come and rest for a bit. We moved to Milobel House in November after several years in a small house uncomfortable for even family to stay in. Apart from the fact that we want to share our new house, it also gives us opportunity to earn some extra income and meet some interesting people along the way.
