We believe our home is unique in its amount of outdoor space as well as the privacy of each bedroom. Casa Carole has appeared in national magazines. We have worked hard to make it not only beautiful, but comfortable as well. Our location is on a street about 5 minutes from the Jardin that is considered one of the most beautiful in San Miguel.
Our home has a whole house water purification system.
The swimming pool, patio, and garden are available for guests renting either the entire home or the main house. The pool can be heated at an extra charge of $25 per day.
Air conditioning in the master bedroom only is available at an extra charge. Ask the owner for details.

Our guests will have the services of our two wonderful assistants. One is a cook, and the other is a very good housekeeper. Rosa and Teresa will take great care of your and make your stay in San Miguel a vacation you will never forget.

If guests wish to have a lunch or afternoon meal during the maids’ normal hours (9am to 3pm Monday to Friday and 9-12 on Saturdays) or after their regular hours, they can make arrangements directly with the maids. If guests do not speak Spanish well enough to communicate their wishes to the maids, they may contact San Miguel Management Company (SMMCO) to make arrangements. The maids’ rate of meal preparation is 100 pesos per hour per maid. If the meal is prepared during the maids’ regular hours, they will stay after cleaning up from the meal to perform their normal tasks for that day.
If the casita is rented separately, then typically one of the maids (either Rosa or Teresa) will come Monday through Friday to do light cleaning (make the beds, tend to the bathrooms as necessary, wash dishes, and water the plants as necessary). Maid service for the casita when rented separately does not include meal preparation.
Bed linens are changed once a week. If they require changing more often (e.g., because of "accidents"), your security deposit may be charged for dry cleaning or extra laundry service.
There is a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the lower level bedroom, and two twin beds in the mezzanine bedroom in the main house.
Air conditioning is available for an extra (metered) charge in the master bedroom. Contact the host in advance for details.
It is important that you treat our housekeepers with respect so that we are able to give you a positive review on your visit in our home.
If you want the pool heated, it is $175/week extra.
You should consider purchasing travel insurance to cover trip cancellations or interruptions as well as medical mishaps. You may wish to check with your own medical insurance program to see if it covers incidents occurring outside your home country.
Our 3-bedroom home has a guest limit of 6 persons. If Guest wishes to add to this number, they must request Host's permission IN ADVANCE to discuss arrangements. With permission, the charge is $75/night per additional guest. UNPERMITTED additional guests will be charged to Guest at $250/night per unpermitted guest.
We ask that prospective guests complete the Airbnb verification process before contacting us.

BUT UNLESS YOU WILL BE PAYING IN A CURRENCY OTHER THAN U.S. DOLLARS, THERE SHOULD BE NO SUCH CONVERSION. SO, YOU SHOULD ASK AIRBNB WHY THEY ARE CHARGING YOU A CURRENCY CONVERSION FEE. This is our second home, and I have never had a problem with guests mistreating it. We ask our guests to treat our home as they would their own. The house is non- smoking, and we do not allow pets.
This rental agreement via Airbnb is not assignable to others; keys to the home will be provided only to the Guest and those in his/her guest group.
Maximum six (6) guests. There will be a charge in the amount of $250 USD per night for each person over this maximum permitted occupancy.
No parties or special events (e.g., a wedding reception) where more than 10 persons in addition to the agreed-upon guest group will be attending. If Guest wishes to request an exception, contact the Host to discuss. Unpermitted groups or special events will result in a charge of $500 against Guest's security deposit.
