Scott (left in photo) and Vince (right in photo) have been innkeepers at the Maple Hill Farm Inn since 1992 (Scott) and 1995 (Vince). They are both native Mainers, Scott from Brunswick and Vince from Union. Scott graduated from Swarthmore College, is a registered professional engineer, and served in both houses of the Maine Legislature for 10 years. Vince repaired electronics for many years and is a talented self-taught cook, having grown up in a very large family. The "family" at the Inn includes two cats, Elmer and Ricky who were adopted as feral barn cats (but Elmer has decided to make himself at home in both the barn and the Inn!), eight llamas, and chickens laying farm-fresh eggs. The Inn exudes being "green" from the wind turbine on top of the hill, to the gleaming solar electric and hot water panels, to four EV charging stations, to the high-quality LED lighting, to the green-certified cleaning products that are used, and even to the Tesla in the garage! Scott and Vince are proud of being full-time innkeepers, and have built a very pleasant and comfortable inn at Maple Hill Farm.
