Born in Italy from German parents I grew up in Rome, where I attended German School.
Graduated as a Textile Conservator in Switzerland I worked independently in the field of conservation for the Vatican Museum in Rome and a number of other prestigious Museums and institutions for over two decades. I always had a vivid interest in other cultures which took me to travel extensively in Europe, India, China, Malaysia and Brazil.
I'm also certified Yoga Instructor graduated from a 4 year course as a Yoga teacher at the school of Gabriella Cella Al Chamali in Piacenza , Italy.
In 2008 I moved together with my husband, Capoeira Mestre Orelha, to Arembepe, a magical fisherman village on the north coast, 50 km far from Salvador.
Our house,a charming, completely renovated, fisherhouse, is situated right in the centre of Arembepe and in front of the ocean and we like to share this little paradise with our guests. I love cooking and like to treat our guests with a rich breakfast with specialities of the cuisine of Bahia and if requested we prepare as well delicious meals.
In our Cultural Centre, situated nearby, we give Capoeira, Yoga, Muay Thai, Pilates and cooking classes.
