My spacious altbau (old building) apartment is located right in the epicentre of Kreuzberg, on the legendary Oranienstrasse. Enjoy a 35sqm room with views of the neighbourhood, with access to all the amenities of the apartment.
The apartment is in an old pre-war building, and as such retains features of the era. High ceilings, grand doors, parquet flooring and beautiful tiles in the kitchen and bathroom. My very large room itself functions as bedroom, living room and study, at 35sqm it is the same size as a studio apartment. The kitchen is also spacious and has a dining area within, as well as all the white goods including a washing machine. The bathroom is decorated with incredible 70's tiling and is truly quite awesome.
Zugang für Gäste
Guests will have access to my room, of course, and the kitchen/dining room and bathroom. You are free to use the washing machine, put food in the fridge, cook, generally anything you would want to do in your own home! I live with 3 other very friendly people, who are respectful and quiet, and often not at home, so you may well have the flat to yourselves sometimes.

I will be there to hand over the keys, and show you the space. Any questions about the area/nightlife/restaurant scene I will be more than happy to answer! After that I am gone and the room is yours, but if there are any problems I will be easily contactable.
The SO36/Kotti/Wrangelkiez neighbourhoods are all basically on your doorstep. Walk outside and you are on Oranienstrasse, Kreuzberg's most famous street, with numerous well-established bars, restaurants and boutiques such as Roses, Angry Chicken, Core-Tex Records and the famous SO36 venue. Nearby there are both the family-friendly Mariannenpark and the slightly wilder Gorlitzer Park. A few blocks away in Wrangelkiez you have Markthalle IX, an incredible food market. This is the heart of a very interesting area with a vibrant and long-standing anti-establishment sub-culture of its own. Look out for the graffiti by famous street artists such as Blu and local street musicians and food vendors.
You are very close to both Gorlitzer Bahnhof and Kottbusser Tor U-Bahn stations. Neukölln and Friedrichshain are one and two U-Bahn stops away respectively. There is also a bus that stops right outside and will take you direct to Checkpoint Charlie, Potsdamer Platz and Kurfurstendamm. Basically you are incredibly well-connected.
Weitere wichtige Infos
I have a bicycle that you are free to use if you want. Berlin is quite safe for cyclists, so even nervous ones are recommended to give it a go - it's a great way to get around!
Please treat the apartment as you would wish for yours to be treated and be mindful that there are other people living here who have jobs and need to wake up early in the week! That said, they are all pretty chill so don't feel like you have to creep around either, you can watch films, play music etc, it's fine.
Please do not have any kind of parties here though, it's not that kind of flat, and I would also ask you not to bring other people over to the apartment.
Also, no smoking, no pets. Sorry.
Other than that, do your thing.
