Quiet flat in city center . Accommodates 4 people
One of the most central locations in the 'walled city', the house is a typical, old townhouse in one of Derry's oldest streets, opposite St.Columb's cathedral and within the city walls. All historic sites and local ameneties are within short walking distance.
When we long for city life, this space is our home from home. It is personal, charming, quiet and comfortable.
Within this three storey house, the flat is located on the second and third floor ( not suitable for people with mobility issues). The ground and first floor are offices occasionally used by my husband.
The flat comprises of a sitting/dining room and a small kitchen (basic food stuffs provided) on the second floor, and a large en suite bedroom on the top floor. In addition to the king size bed there is a double sofa bed in the bedroom and another one in the sitting room.
Guests are welcome to use the solid fuel stove in the sitting room (fuel is provided ).
Bishop Street car park is a 2min walk from the house where parking is free over night and costs approximately £4 for an entire day. You will find free street parking outside the City walls .
If you don't feel like cooking, Bishop's gate hotel is opposite the house. It serves excellent food all day - I like it a lot!
I have tried to describe our space accurately but should you need more details please contact me, I usually reply promptly.
Interaktion mit Gästen
I don't live in the house. The floors below the apartment are occasionally used by my husband who practices acupuncture.
I strive to welcome guests personally. If it's not possible for me to be there , guests will be met by a friend or occasionally I will leave a set of keys at a prearranged location for pick up.
You can always reach me by phone or on social networks if you need assistance with anything.
