Die Unterkunft

This property is licensed by the Malta Tourism Authority which means a representative of the authority has visited the property to vet its standards. This penthouse enjoys a lovely terrace to laze about in the maltese sun, where there is also a gas barbeque and an outdoor dining area.

It is situated 5 minutes away by bus to Valletta (the capital) and 10 minutes by bus to Sliema and St.Julian's (beach/shops/entertainment/diving schools).

A bank, pharmacy, grocer, restaurants and cafe's are all within walking distance ( 5 minutes walk) of the apartment.

A small rocky beach (Ta'Xbiex) is only 10 minutes walk away from the penthouse.

Bed linen and a towel per person are included.

The promenade, that stretches all the way to St. Julians through Sliema, is a lovely place for a long relaxing walk, with stops on the way for drinks, snacks, restaurants and playgrounds for families to enjoy. The promenade also leads to Valletta, offers great views of the bastions and gardens dating back to the 16th Century.

If you decide to rent a car, Avis is just down the road. Parking next to the apartment is very easy and free.

Buses passing from Msida lead to most areas on the island, being so close to Valletta which is the main bus terminus.

I would appreciate it if you leave the apartment in the same clean condition that you will find it.

Water and electricity is included in the price but has to be used with consideration. These rates are very expensive in Malta so please switch off lights, air conditioning and don't leave water running when not in use. You would also be helping us in doing our part to protect the environment.

IMPORTANT NOTE APPLICABLE TO GUESTS STAYING FROM 1ST JUNE 2016 ONWARDS:

As from June 1, 2016, the Government of Malta is introducing an Environmental Contribution on stays at all types of accommodation. All revenue generated from this initiative will be used to upgrade and embellish the local infrastructure in touristic areas around the Maltese Islands.

If you are 18 years or older on the day of arrival, and starting your stay on 1st June 2016 or after, you will be required to pay an Environmental Contribution amounting to €0.50c per night up to a maximum of €5 for each continuous stay in the Maltese Islands, including twin-centre holidays in Malta and Gozo. This applies to local and foreign guests staying at any type of accommodation including hotels, guesthouses, farmhouses, villas, hostels, self-catering apartments, b&b, host families etc. The contribution is not included in your room rate and so you will be charged for it separately. This contribution is not subject to VAT, commissions or other charges. The Managers/Owners of the accommodation property where you are staying are obliged to collect the contribution and pass it on to Government. They are also expected to keep a record of the number of guests, their ages and length of stay. This information will enable them to calculate the charge and keep an audit trail. For this reason, you may be asked to provide personal information such as your date of birth and to support this with a document, such as a passport or driver’s licence. All data is collected and processed in accordance with the Data Protection laws of Malta. Would appreciate it if smoking is taken outside, in the terrace. Please note that no parties are allowed in the penthouse. This is a nice and quite residential block and we would like you to respect the neighbours as much as we do.

We got a fantastic reception by Feliciann, our host, including offer for booking of the transfer. The stay was perfect, with fast communication when we needed to change the gas cylinder. It was especially appreciated. A bus hub is just three minutes away at Kullegg bus stop. The checkout went according to our plans and we have only to recommend Feliciann for guests. And BTW, the wifi is outstanding, which enables us to have (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) meetings and streaming TV from Sweden. And we are heavy users!

Nous avons profité de cet appartement spacieux en famille avec 2 enfants (12 et 16 ans). C'était extra. 1 chambre pour les enfant, 1 pour les parents. Il y a tout ce qui est nécessaire à la cuisine et tout était fonctionnel. L'immeuble est bien tenu et le quartier est tranquille. Au dernier étage, avec vue sur la marina, on se sent avec beaucoup d'espace. L'épicerie est proche, y compris une ouverte le dimanche. L'arrêt de bus à 5 min à pied est parfait pour plusieurs directions. On avait choisi avec raison le passe 7 jours pour le bus (conduite à gauche + circulation maltaise = difficultés garanties). Feliciann a été charmante et nous a aidé avant et pendant le séjour. Merci !

Feliciann is a very nice host, it was nice to meet her on arrival and she made us feel very welcome. She made a taxi reservation for us, which is very welcome when arriving with a 16 months old child at the airport. The apartment had an nice vibe, was well equipped and even more spacious then it looked on the pictures. We really enjoyed the terrace for breakfast and dinner with a view. The apartment was very well based for exploring beautiful Malta with public transport. We really enjoyed our stay!

Feliciann est agréable et serviable.. Le séjour dans son appartement c'est très bien passé.. Situé dans un quartier calme mais assez bien desservi (quelques petites épiceries dans le quartier, et l'arrêt de bus à moins de 5 minutes à pied).. Sur l'île tout est facile d'accès du coup on est bien situé.. L'appartement est spacieux, agréable, fonctionnel et bien décoré.. Petite touche de négatif il n'y a pas de machine à café, et la vaisselle était grasse et pas bien nettoyé mais ça reste un détail :) Je recommande l'appartement de Feliciann

Feliciann made us very welcome. The apartment was spacious , it was useful to have 2 bathrooms. The outside terrace with a gas bbq was a pleasant feature. Driving generally without a sat nav is challenging.

Great place in a convenient location. The balcony was large and great to eat on with a bottle of wine in the evening. At first we were worried about the on-street parking, as there weren't many spots nearby, but it was pretty easy to find a spot, if not right away then after circling the area a couple of times. The aircon worked well in the bedroom and kept us cool. There's none in the living room but usually opening the balcony doors a bit and putting the fan on helped cool the place down.

Feliciann's apartment was an ideal base for exploring Malta, with easy access to transport all around the island. The apartment itself is very spacious, and has everything you need. The large terrace was the perfect place to sit and relax after a day of exploring. Would recommend to everyone visiting Malta. Feliciann is a great and very responsive host. She met us at check-in, and was very helpful with info about the place and about Malta.
