A cozy flat in an outstanding building from 1927 on one of the nicest streets in Bucharest, close to all major public transport links at Piata Romana and part of the grade one architecturally protected area of Ioanid Park, this is your perfect spot in Bucharest.
Our apartment is located in a seismic proof building and it sleeps up to 4 people (two in a quiet bedroom and two in the extremely comfortable expandable sofa in the living room that becomes an intimate second bedroom by closing all its doors).
The flat is situated very close to the bustle of the Romana Square or Magheru Boulevard, in an area in which we find the Bucharest charm of the beginning of the 20th century . Icoanei Garden, Church of England, Central School, Icoanei Church and especially Ioanid Park, which is 1 minute walk away are just a few of our wonderful surroundings.
Our apartment is located in the heart of the city, in a very classy area of Bucharest.
The neighbors are the Egyptian, Belgian and Danish Embassies as well as the British Council and the French Institute of Bucharest... so you will be staying in a fairly exclusive area. The nearest subway station and a big public transport hub is only a few minutes walk away, at Romana Square (with direct buses to the airport and the train station), one of the central hot-spots of Bucharest.
We are also only 5 bus stops (+/-20 minutes walk) away from Gara de Nord, the main train station and just one metro stop from the OLD CENTER.
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a classical early 20th century building. It consists of 3 rooms (one bedroom, one dining room and one living room, which could be used as the second bedroom, for 2 more people) with high ceilings and the original parquet floor. All rooms are fitted with the original art deco terracotta stoves and big windows. The kitchen is equipped with gas cooker and over and all necessary pots and pans... A Bialetti espresso maker and an electrical kettle are at your disposal. Large tub in the bathroom for you to enjoy.
With both of us working in the creative industries we have an appetite for 20th century furniture and interior design and that can be noticed in our choice of decor.
We are both very fond of what Bucharest has to offer and we can offer a good insight into the city's best museums, bars, restaurants and night life.

We are both born in Bucharest and have been living here most of our lives. We have a fairly good knowledge of what that city has on offer in terms of architecture and the art scene, music and cultural events, bars, cafes and restaurants, its fruit and veg markets as well as antiques and flea markets. Upon arrival you will be receiving a city map, guide books in french and English as well as a Romanian phrasebook.

If you are planning to stay a longer time (over a week), we will negotiate sharing the extra cost of the airbnb commission. We know the airbnb commission is a bummer, especially on the longer periods, when it all adds up, so we will be happy to deduce it from your total expense. Let's talk about that!
We are pretty easy going... not many rules that need to be taken into consideration, just a few technical details that you will receive as soon as your booking is confirmed. Thank you
