This spacious sunny townhouse in the beautiful beach village of Praia da Areia Branca is a mere 15 km from Peniche, 25 km from Obidos and 70 km from Lisbon.
The village is lively but not wild and features a variety of cafés, restaurants, bars, a tennis court, a children’s playground and a scenic beach promenade.
The home is part of an 8-unit gated condominium with a large swimming pool, barbecue and lush palm trees in the front yard.
The home has two bedrooms (twin beds easily pushed together to create a double bed) and a lounge area with a futon that is quickly transformed into a double bed.
The attractive fireplace is fully functional for winter stays and good firewood will be supplied at 17 euros per 100 kg.
The very large kitchen has an ocean view and French doors just steps from the sparkling blue swimming pool. Dining with a view of the shimmering pool in the background will transform even an ordinary meal into a wonderful celebration.
Upstairs you’ll find the main bathroom, 2 bedrooms with large wardrobes and their own balcony and rural view.
Best of all is the lounge area leading to a spectacular sunny terrace with an ocean view for relaxation in the true meaning of the word and, be warned, which may become addictive.
Praia da Areia Branca, which literally means “beach of white sand,” is ideal for walks along the promenade or, for the more ambitious, for long walks along the vast beach or along the peaceful cliff-side road leading to the Paimogo Fort overlooking a beautiful bay.

Most important, Praia da Areia Branca is a friendly village where you won’t be treated just like another tourist and where the home’s Portuguese-Canadian owner lives, works and will be pleased to offer any assistance or information.
Although Praia da Areia Branca offers almost everything you’ll need at its local vegetable market, food shop, bakery, etc., in Lourinha (3 km) you’ll also find 3 large supermarkets, all types of shops, a post office, a public medical centre, churches, pharmacies and so on.
