Lawson Lodge is a newly renovated and beautifully appointed house situated in a quiet residential area very close to the heart of Southsea. With 3 generous bedrooms and a contemporary feel, it can comfortably accommodate 6 guests.

On street parking, permits provided for 1600 - 1800hrs, with superfast wifi and lots of extra comforts, Lawson Lodge is a great place to stay whether you are visiting for work or pleasure.

Situated in Southsea, Lawson Lodge is a beautifully refurbished, 3 bedroom house with modern, fitted downstairs bathroom and kitchen as well as 2 receptions rooms. Close to the seafront and to the Southsea shopping and nightlife, we believe the accommodation is ideal for business and leisure travellers alike.

Walking into this delightful property you step into the long entrance hall, typical of a traditional Portsmouth terrace home of its era, leading to; two receptions downstairs, the first offering comfort while watching TV or taking time out just to relax and the second offering a dining table that seats 6 people by way of beautiful bright blue luxury chairs. Walking past the door to the garden and storage under the stairs (and boiler housing) through into the modern, fully equipped fitted kitchen and finally the large fully tiled bathroom at the rear of the property. Upstairs awaits a large king size bedroom and a good size double bedroom, both with dressing tables and a beautifully presented twin bedroom. Externally at the rear of the property there is a Southerly facing rear garden mainly laid to lawn with flower and shrub borders, the perfect suntrap for those long Summer evenings or making the most of the midday Winter sun.

Providing all the comforts of a modern hotel, with free wifi, flat screen smart TV, Netflix, high quality beds and furnishings and hotel quality linen, we also provide all the facilities needed to cook at home. A well equipped kitchen includes an oven a 4 ring gas hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine, plus all the crockery, pots and pans etc needed for the majority of dishes.

Situated in a traditional, quiet Victorian terraced street just off Albert Road, the property’s location is excellent. Parking is free on the street although it can get a bit busy in the evenings, particularly at weekends. Permits are in force between the hours of 1600 - 1800 and we provide these for you in the property. However, its just 15 mins walk to Southsea beach and the South Parade Pier, as well as Canoe Lake which is a great area if you have kids with you. It’s only 5 mins walk to the bustling Albert Road with its vast selection of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, an eclectic mix of boutique shops and the beautiful Kings Theatre and the Westwood Rooms (live music venue).

Enter the property by turning into Lawson Road, from Fawcett Road, where No 23 can be found approx 100 yards down on the left hand side. A key safe is located to the right hand side of the door.

There are a number of quirky shops, takeaways and a Co-Op in the nearby surroundings, a short 5 min walk from the property as well as access to the local bus routes.
Just 20 mins walk to Southsea beach, South Parade Pier and Canoe Lake which is a great area if you have kids with you. It’s only 10 mins walk to the bustling Albert Road with its vast selection of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, an eclectic mix of boutique shops and the beautiful Kings Theatre and the Westwood Rooms (live music venue). Just a 10 min drive or taxi ride gets you to the Historic Dockyard where you can see the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior plus a host of other exhibitions and to Gunwharf Quays for outlet shopping, plus more restaurants and bars and a cinema. Also in close proximity, is the Pyramids Centre Swimming Pool and Gym, Southsea Castle, D-Day Museum, Royal Marines Museum, Natural History Museum, Blue Reef Aquarium, Clarence Pier (amusement park), Southsea Common and the Skate Park.
