I look forward to welcoming you here & help you to experience my city in the best possible way!
Here below the details regarding my apartment and its neighborhood.
overlooks the courtyard of an old restructured building "a ringhiera", a typical milanese construction from the 1800. The apartment is very quiet and cosy with brand new modern furniture. You will be given clean sheets and towels.
The place is provided with cable TV, dishwasher, oven and washing machine.
is one of the oldest, funkiest and safest neighborhoods in town.
In 2 min. or so you reach Colonne di San Lorenzo, Parco delle Basiliche, the Duomo and Sant'Ambrogio. In 10 min. you can reach the Navigli district (Milan’s canals), the Sforzesco Castle and Santa Maria delle Grazie, where the "Ultima cena" by Leonardo Da Vinci is exposed.
Transport & Connections:
just across the street (via torino) you can find many “TRAM” ( (Website hidden by Airbnb)
- Tram n. 2, which runs through the town center from Central Station to Porta Genova Station passing by via Manzoni and via Montenapoleone (the posh/fashion district).
- Tram n. 14 runs from China Town to via Solari/Tortona (Design District).
- Tram n. 3 takes you to Brera (Old Bohemian Art District).
In Duomo you can find the tube/subway Line 1 and 2.
For those who prefer a more comfortable life there is a taxi station just across the street.
Points of interest:
Besides being a cultural district the neiborhood is one of the most popular areas for nightlife.
Here some recommendations for restaurants & bars in the surroundings.
Restaurants: Trattoria Milanese, La Fettunta, Rugantino
Bars: Lucas, Exploit, Tasca, Paul’s Chiringuito (in Piazza Mentana), the Coquetel, Trattoria Toscana, and Le Trottoire (if you are looking for live music).
Last but not least, facing my front door, you can find the Ostello Bello which serves you a complete breakfast with buffet for only 5€.
Why come to "quiet island"
the flat is located in the most comfortable and requested area in town. The right place to live a typical milanese lifestyle.
Hope to see you soon!
