We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. At first we thought it was smaller then we expected, but ended up being cool with the size. We spent time in the lounge area/kitchen, and off that each of us had our own bedroom with large windows. The best part of the setup was the rooftop down the hall. Overlooking the amazing Rainbow St, the balcony was really nice for sitting at night, eating Iftar, or throwing parties on the weekend. There sometimes were small problems (leaking AC pipe, the tap water would turn off) but I don't know if it's the building's fault. Honestly the location was so amazing-- right next to cafes, bars, restaurants, a cell phone place, money exchange etc., that we were really happy.
Our host Mohamed was also really nice: he owns the whole building, and took us to the bar on the top floor with gorgeous views of Amman. He almost always answered the phone and smiled a lot. A final note is that other renters often live right down the hall (you're essentially a unit of a small apartment complex) and they were usually, in our experience, cool people to hang out with. Perhaps because the rent is a little expensive (and/or because of the neighborhood) many of the renters were international and chill.
