A detached cottage situated on a corner plot of Lochan Mor development with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an ensuite. Secure garden to the rear.

A local supermarket, takeaway's and bike hire are only a short walk from the cottage. The main street with many bars and restaurants is within walking distance.

A path next to the house leads onto the Aviemore Orbital and the Speyside Way which are great walking and cycling trails.

Die Unterkunft
Our holiday home is new to the market and listed for let from January 2021. Freshly decorated with all new furniture, we've tried to make the cottage feel like a home from home, and hope you find it comfortable and welcoming.

We chose this cottage because we believe it has the best of both worlds. It has access from the door to miles of trails for running, walking and cycling so feels rural yet is only around a 20 minute walk (5 minutes drive) to the centre of Aviemore and the shops, restaurants and bars the town has to offer. There are 2 takeaway restaurants, a supermarket and bike hire about 8 minutes walk away. Aviemore has so much to do all year round, including water sports, skiing, cycling, hill walking, clay pigeon shooting, go karting, quad biking, tree top walks as well as enjoying the many restaurants and cafes.

The kitchen window faces the back of the property with views towards the Cairngorms, and I love to stand with my first coffee watching the sunrise over the hills. There is a comfortable dining room leading off the kitchen with a leather bench and modern chairs, seating 6. The dining room in turn leads through to the living room, which can also be accessed from the hall, or out to the rear garden.

The living room has a log fire and a 42 inch smart TV, just what you need after a day out on the hills or trails, curled up on the cosy sofa. You are welcome to use any logs from the log store and more can be purchased at the Co-op or Hardware store if required.

There are 3 modern bedrooms, with comfortable mattresses and duvets. The master has access to an ensuite with shower and there is also a bathroom.

In the secure back garden there is a rattan table and comfortable seating for up to 8. There is a large locked shed which is available to you for storing your bikes, skis or other outdoor equipment.

One well behaved dog welcome, but please keep dog out of bedrooms and off all furniture (not all guests are dog lovers like us and the white linen certainly doesn't love muddy paws!). No smoking please. We have wi-fi - so the kids should be fine!
